Track Echo of Light buff

I like watching a certain YouTube talking head who plays healers. I noticed when they were doing a Mythic key as Holy, you could see the Echo of Light buff on his party frames.

I like the idea of showing this on my party and raid frames for triage purposes. Anyone know how they are doing this? It’s on their party frames so I think it’s not a weak aura. I can’t find the option in settings.

Any ideas?

They probably use cell or Vuhdo addons. ( or another addon/set up )

Both allow you to track or ignore any HoTs/DoTs/Debuffs that you want - under the HoT’s menu/area ( you can add trail of light there or whatever else )

If they are using the default blizz UI not sure tbh. Possibly under the raid frame options - assuming that is even possible with blizz base UI. Last I checked the base UI doesn’t really track enough of the important stuff and you cant add your own HoT’s/Dot’s/Debuff you would like it to show.

My guess is they are using an addon. If you have a link to a video or have the name of the streamer I can check for you.

I use grid and it has a module for trail of light that I use. I make it into a little yellow box in the top right corner of each frame.

However, I do find that tracking it is mostly useless and a distraction. You have to heal who you have to heal regardless.

I figured if two targets are at the same health %, I would throw something on the one with no echo of light as they at least have some hot on them.

Would it matter? Probably not. Moreover, it would be really interesting to at least play with the idea.

I use healbot and can give it specific instructions to track if I want. I ignore echo but could be good for arena specific, anything else I would suggest limited, if negative value from spending any mental concentration on it.
