Wont let me post my tracert on the board. But as soon as I hit a blizzard.com router my latency goes up 3x!
What is up with blizzards servers? Latency goes up massively once I reach them.
Not sure about the battle.net sites, or blizzard.com , but the game servers are likely stored at different locations. WoW game servers in the US region being hosted at Los Vegas, Chicago and Australia.
Blizzard does host game sites in different regions though, so Blizzard.com might be routing to different IP’s.
IP addresses specifically to the servers are no longer public information.
You could likely code encase your trace to post it, instructions are in a sticky post on general discussion forum. Again, it likely won’t help source out where your latency might be.
