Toys you can use in a macro that won't trigger the GCD

Hi!

I’m making a list of toys you can use in a macro that don’t trigger the GCD and have no cast time so they won’t mess with your parses. I thought this could be interesting to some people.

Note: While this list contains toys that won’t trigger the GCD some toys may trigger other toys’ CD or stack on top of each other.

List of toys you can “/use” in a macro:

:dizzy: = Makes you sparkle.
:japanese_goblin: = Transform you.
:cupid: = Requires target.
:robot: = Will spawn an object.

If I’m missing any or if I listed toys that use the GCD or will impact your rotation please let me know !

How to use:

For most of them, also depending on the content of your macro, you can just add a line containing:“/use [Toy Name in the Journal]”.

i.e.:
#showtooltip
/cast Kidney Shot
/use Bubble Wand

List will be updated if I find issues or get new toys -=^.^=-

Perpetual Purple Firework. I have it macro’d with Touch of the Magi, which is an oGCD, and it works every time. I’m sure it could be put on a GCD macro.

Someone i raid with has the bubble thing macro’d into a lot of her spells, so she’s always blowing bubbles everywhere she goes :joy:

I have prismatic bauble macro’d to most of my movement skills.

Had to wade through a lot of garbage but I finally found someone on GD doing God’s work.

Why are you using toys during combat? Apply them beforehand.

Not sure what move he macroed it too, but I knew a druid that had the Adopted Puppy Crate macroed to something.

There was a time when Bubble Wand made it so you couldn’t block attacks.

Our warrior tank found out the hard way after having it macro’d into abilities.

Something to do with can’t block attacks while channeling. Pretty sure it got fixed

jeez this thing…

I saw this for the first time recently on two different people, both moving at high speed. So I thought “cool! I like fast!” So I got it.

Maaaan, it’s just colors… no speed lol : / - Sure it’s my own fault for not reading the fine print. But it doesn’t make the story any less funny at my own expense.

Can I make a suggestion for your list? Can you add the toy CDs so we know low long the recharge is?

The bubble wand is cool because the CD is really quick compared to other toys.

Now that I’m thinking about it, this would be funny to macro to either Hand of Gul’dan (as it summons Wild Imps), or Implosion.

100% this. One better is instead of alphebetical order, order them by CD because CD is the most important thing. If something has a long CD thats cool, but the short CD ones are the ones you want to actually macro. Ones with a long cd are almost pointless but cool to know of nonetheless.
