I’d say about 50/50 chance that the toy train set doesn’t cause anyone in party (including me) to do the /train emote. Game breaking!!
That IS game breaking! Where are you, though, when you’re using the train set? If you’re, like, somewhere busy with tons of other people, then there is a possibility you won’t hear your own emotes.
Also, you could try deleting your cache, sometimes that clears up issues with sounds. Something to do now, I suppose, while we wait for WoW to come back up.
It’s always in 5 man dungeons when I use it and its not just sound there’s no visible emote either, it’s like the train set isn’t there. (Though I can see the physical train set itself)
btw I am OP I just hadn’t posted on the forums in years so I had to change to my current main
Wonder if they disabled the sound/emote in dungeons. Sometimes they don’t allow certain toys to be used in dungeons & raids, and perhaps the train set is now one of them. I guess try using it outside a dungeon to see what’s up.
Shame, though, if true!
The thing is though sometimes it works, just not all the time…
Ah, right, I see that now. Then, yeah, probably a bug on their end. Poor trains!
