Toxic systems deserve toxic feedback

Such a weird hill for blizzard to die on.

Like who tf comes up with this BS? Ruining all the glorious art work, raid encounters, dungeon encounters, lore, leveling zones, end game zones with just the most random BS. Like “choices having permanent consequences on gameplay” and aoe target cap

Blizz just loves ruining their own game just to sell us a “solution” later on to a problem they created.

idk why they are ruining an RPG experience under the guise of making choices matter.

im going to be so pissed if i have to throw vampire parties, i will probably unsub.

I still remember the Legion alpha where he told everyone that they were overreacting and that legendaries would turn out fine. Unbelievable that people are falling for it again.

Oh man, people are forgetting this in the hubbub around Covenants. Just wait til folks get into a dungeon and pull more than 5 mobs haha.

As for who comes up with it, it’s a really common thing. In the military we called it the “Good Idea Fairy.” People in charge tend to have the most supremely stupid ideas and unless they’ve got someone to check them, everyone else suffers because of it.

Ion and his managers seem to be human incarnations of the Good Idea Fairy.

I’ve never really understood why that minority group of players who have played one spec of one class since vanilla and have never changed want everyone else to play that way. People pick hybrids so that they can perform different roles depending on the needs of their group/guild or if they just get bored.

Aoe target cap has been in game before and it was perfectly fine. The gcd change in the other hand…

Theres a few hundred square miles of those hills, lol.
The asinine choices made by this company since around 2014-2015 staggers the mind…and the pocket book.

seems to be a common theme these days with certain groups.
Create the ‘problem’ then come save us with your ‘solution’, lol

Well at least a handful of mythic raiders intend to crusade for Covenant toxicity.

So you’re not alone in your sentiments OP.

I feel ya bro. Honestly, anyone who has been around longer than 2 xpacs would understand BLizzard has degraded into pile of Sh*t.

Didn’t people want more significant choices to chose from? I’m confused.

Gating DPS / player power behind anything other than gear has backfired time and time again. Yet here we go again…

Story wise yes. Powerwise no. There has never been a system in game tied to power that has had meaningful choice cause its impossible to. There will always be the best and more than just mythic players want to feel like they’re playing thier best. We may not all get the mythic gear but we can (well could now) feel assured we were getting best talents/powers etc.

Yeah its a stupid system they have no faith in since they already have a “back up plan” so what they said was basically “were gonna put in this bad system but dont worry we will remove it later”

What people wanted was more work on class design and less reliance on temporary powers that went away at the end of every expansion. Instead, Shadowlands is bringing us another rental power set.

They have no choice if they want to compete in open world, add Raider IO and a cloak that isn’t upgraded and bam the casuals are done for. what they have created is a real cash generating machine, we are forced to either buy gold illegally or with their token …either way its expensive.

I for one am looking forward to the vampire parties I’m going to throw.

How do you like Sub Mechatos? is it any good?

Eh, honestly doesn’t feel too different than either of the other rogue specs.
