The subreddit is pretty toxic. I don’t post anything there. It’s like GD on drugs.

I haven’t had any issues with the subreddit. I thought most of them have a nicer attitude than they do here.

Reddit is a literal propaganda machine that does not in any way allow wrongthink against the media. It is an awful awful awful site full of people who completely lack the self awareness to see their own programming, to the point that its users frequently ASK for authoritarian moderation because anything that causes cognitive dissonance and exposes their brainwashed thinking for what it is IS A THREAT AND MUST BE SILENCED.
Stay the heck off there.

Same. I’ve yet to have an issue. Maybe folks looking to have arguments have a different experience

That can be applied to twitter and facebook as well. Horrible places. Taking a swim in a toxic waste dump mixed with radioactive fallout would be safer than those cesspits.

Sorry I’ve been busy in life. But I ran into a technical issues and I tried asking for help and I got treated like a moron and a five year old. I ended up figuring it out in my own but they treated me like dog poop.
How did tech support devolve into that?
I wish I knew. One guy was being exceedingly snarky about his fix that I tried that didn’t work. It ended up being my mouse’s firmware acting up. It crashed and I lost control over my action bars and had to alt f4.
It really doesn’t help that you’re relaying pretty cryptic info about a thing none of us know. This sounds more like you’re just venting to friends about something and i gotta say, i’m not your friend guy!
You have many groupies that hang out in CS and tech support and are more than happy to do for free what a person getting paid to do because they might get “noticed” by blue text.
