I was just in an AV game that had just started and I guess some people were trying to get their friends into the game so they spam reported me afk it seems. I was kicked from the BG and given the deserter debuff. If you have people spam say AFK just to get their friends into the same AV game as you, then you should not get the deserter debuff.

I had a funny/frustrating one happen to me.
I joined and had leader. After gates opened a warrior whispered me for leader cause he wanted to mark things. I immediately passed leader. He turned loot to Master Looter and gave me back lead. I wasn’t watching chat and got promptly booted from the match. Him and his buddies were spamming chat to report me for turning ML on. Was funny for a second then became super frustrating to think about.
