Toxic players MC/fear off Boats

lol no its actually called being an adult and getting annoyed by childish behavior!!!

I’m adult, and I don’t complain about such things… I just deal with it like an adult and move on.

Oh phew! luckily i play on a PVE server.

You really have to get the exploiting thing outta your head. Do you know what it means?

your an adult that doesnt have other obligations to attend to so you can waste 30+ minutes of your life running back to the boat where others only have a few hours of free time to enjoy playing and have to deal with toxic behavior that just ruins the game!!!

Nice assumptions, you must be a gem in real life.

and yet here you are on the forums wasting your time complaining.

The irony of an adult playing a T for teen video game, complaining like a non adult about people having non adult behaviour.

You do know you can go INSIDE the boat and avoid being MCd OFF the boat, right? lol

Not to mention you got one person on your side on this, well everyone else is telling you that you’re wrong.

See’s priest casting MC, stands there does nothing about it.

Report away then.

Next thing i know you’ll be calling people that MC off Lumber Mill in Arathi Basin griefers as well or at least cause you to uncomfortably shift some goal posts.

I bet he’s also thinks gnomer should be easier cuz some pugs struggle with it

As a NE priest, I love coming out of stealth & MCing people off the boat. Lots of fun and usually starts some wPvP. Not going to stop doing it. Just be ready to deal with it.

MCing people in pvp is fine but to grief them in the world and cuase them distress and make them waste 30+ mins of there time is greifing also using MC to have a player leave the bg is also greifing read the TOS and you will see that is is a violation of the TOS

“Behavior that intentionally detracts from others’ enjoyment (such as griefing, throwing, feeding, etc.) is unacceptable. We expect our players to treat each other with respect and promote an enjoyable environment. Acceptable behavior is determined by player reports and Blizzard’s decision, and violating these guidelines will result in account and gameplay restrictions.”

im all for world PVP but blizz can easily fix this by putting an invisible wall on the boat when it leaves to prevent greifing players or just have the load screen start 5 seconds after leaving the dock simple fixes

In World of Warcraft lore, mind control abilities are often wielded by powerful and cunning beings, such as the Forsaken shadow priests or the Illidari warlocks. These abilities can be used in a variety of ways, from manipulating enemies in combat to influencing the actions of NPCs. In the case of the Booty Bay boat, mind controlling players off can be seen as a clever and strategic move to disrupt enemy forces and gain a tactical advantage.

Additionally, the use of mind control abilities adds a sense of unpredictability and danger to the game world. Players never know when they might become the target of a mind control spell, keeping them on their toes and encouraging them to stay aware of their surroundings. This element of surprise can make for some thrilling and memorable gameplay moments.

Overall, I believe that mind controlling players off the Booty Bay boat can enhance the World of Warcraft experience by adding a new dimension of strategy and excitement. As long as it is used in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner, I see no harm in incorporating this tactic into our adventures in Azeroth.

So we agree that Paladin bubbles are griefing?

Since it takes away my enjoyment of the game by not being able to kill paladins while they bubble hearth and there is nothing i can do to stop it right?

Move those goal posts, keep it going.

Why not just say :

“I want to afk on the boat and have nothing happen to me ever and if something happens I want Blizzard to ban that person”.

That’s what you’re really asking isn’t it?

Or hear me out, dont go afk on the boat and defend yourself, there is a addons that will alert you to being targeted by a spell.

Reporting players using Mind Control as intended will never result in a ban. It isn’t against the rules.

PvP you don’t like is still PvP. Either deal with it, learn how to fight back, or reroll on a PvE server
