Blizzard seriously needs to do something about the toxic playerbase in mplus dungeons.
Its seriously impossible to play even a plus 2 at this point with how much gatekeeping and toxicity goes on in this game!
Raider io is a horrible thing and i cant believe blizzard added their own dungeon scoring system into the game.
Blizzard seriously needs to rethink their philosophy on content in this game. And if they even want to save thos dying game.
Classic is proof that challenging content can be fun and for everyone.

You can come prepared to the dungeon. It’s nobody else’s responsibility to teach you or carry you. You’re not entitled to waste other people’s time if you haven’t bothered to learn the dungeon.

This game isnt a job i shouldnt need to do hours of research outside the videogame to get invited to a simple dungeon group.

Strictly speaking, M+ isn’t simple. It’s a scaling system where people go to prove their understanding of the dungeon, it’s mechanics and the Affixes while working under a time constraint that penalizes you for incompetence.

I mean to be fair, low Level keys are kind a there for people to learn. It’s alright if they don’t know things from the beginning.
THe best way to do them though? A guild group. Make a few friends. Start low and climb.

I do play classic its very fun but its 100% all raid logging at this point which is fine at least i am not gatekeep from the content in that game because of some made up number
Except you would be; DPS is still the gold standard of measuring player worth in classic much as it is in retail.

I still enjoy the other aspects of the game, im just tired of tryhards and elitist like this other warrior who think they are so so so good and can talk down to other players all cause they have some made up number next to their name

It will not change. M+ got worse in dragonflight for casuals. But the forum is filled up with elitists who can only brag about a game in their miserable life. So don’t expect casual feedback in here

If you think I’m bragging about my capabilities you are sorely mistaken; I am by all accounts a below average player.
What I do do however, is take the time to learn the dungeon’s mechanics and nuances in M0 wherein you will see the core components of the dungeon (Lay out, Boss/add move sets, add locations/pathing) and then try and see how the various mechanics will effect it in M+ (IE which dungeons will be harder during certain weeks, when to go slow and when to go fast ect.).
In this way I can at least portray some technical competence in the run even If I’m not setting records with my DPS output.
And the other end of it, is that M+ might simply not be something that clicks for you which honestly is fine since not everyone is wired for that kind of content.

How did you get a 2500 score without even doing +2s?
Please teach me your ways! I can’t get into heroic dungeons bc my ilvl is too low. I don’t have the gold for all this crafted gear.
