i’m loving the GD pamper though
This community is nothing compared to the Blizzard and World of Warcraft groups on Facebook. Women there posting cleavage pics and flirting guys, guys posting topless there, women posting pics in their bras and other stuff like that, or posting fully naked with their parts covered up with their hands and stuff. And I am talking big groups like 10,000+ people in them. So yea I left all the WoW and Blizzard groups on FB. TONS of sexists and hardcore racist people in those groups there.
This community here is nothing like the WoW community on FB. Someone posted a WoW video of Athene playing WoW… someone in the group replied by saying "Athene is a ***. And called him the 3 letter f word for gay people. And people liked the comment.
Then Pshero also had someone link one of his videos. I follow the guy on IG. I talk to him sometimes. He is pretty cool. Someone in the group said “When is the guy going to go full Bin laden”… and he didnt get kicked from the group. Only got a bunch of upvotes.
So I honestly think all the WoW and Blizzard groups on FB should have the option of having users reported there and then getting banned here for it. And I am EU. People made fun of me in the group because of that once they found out. So yea.
That only exists with retail players.
What most here are missing, is that there’s more to this story than OP is letting on.
To kick in LFR, you need 5 people to right click → Vote to Kick, just to even initiate a kick. So it wasn’t just one guy wanting the tank kicked. And then the majority have to agree.
So OP was doing badly enough where the LFR group decided to remove their tank. And from my experience in LFR, kicking a tank, he has to be failing hard. I’ve seen tanks literally never taunt and they stick around for 3 boss kills, much to the dismay of their co-tank trying to get them kicked.
And this is why callouts aren’t allowed : because OP comes in here with a biased story where obviously he’s venting, but not quite being truthful about what really happened.
In LFR, if I see a vote to kick, I’m saying yes. I don’t even care. I’m not going to sit in there and have a “discussion” in LFR. Kick the person and let’s get this pull started.
Toxic? Maybe. But don’t pick fights in LFR. And don’t jump into LFR as a tank without at least watching something.
Maybe the exception being a week or two or three after LFR is put out there. But this late? Yea, bye.
Sounds like you got a group of fools… you gotta get some thicker skin though, you’ll get there one day, keep your head up and just move on. You’re a tank, you’ll find a group quick because you are a tank. Don’t let randoms on the internet tear you down.
I’m the complete opposite, unless they’re afk or just an angry douche I’m not kicking.
And that’s fine too. I truly don’t care in LFR. I’m just interested in getting out.
Agree, I rarely ever even touch LFR unless I’m just really bored. I guess I take a let em learn approach to LFR.
Yea, let em learn, but it’s now the end of the expansion. At some point, they should have learned by now. Or put in some effort to not waste a bunch of people’s time.
I’ll run as a DPS until I get the gist of what’s going on.
WoW Classic is exponentially more toxic than retail because most toxic players left retail when Classic launched, which is why I hope Classic servers stay viable.
It was the retail players who came to classic and streamed got their Scarab Lords, their R14s. Not a single one of them was able to get that stuff in original Vanilla yet they did it this time around. And they were the toxic ones. But they all left and went back to retail.
True, I’m not sure about your reasoning as to why… I’ll like spam AV on my Shaman and they’ll just start attacking people telling them how much they suck or that they’re idiots, a couple hard N-words. Which I haven’t seen in retail in a VERY long time.
Just by them not having personal loot, it’s got to inherently be more toxic.
