auto que is fine it’s the players just accept the fact people come and go i say nothing to people in normal or heroic messing up that just come when i’m doing callings just enjoy the ride same as lfr should be or don’t do it if you can’t accept the fact if your not new and people constantly come and go
If there were a chance that blizz would have a AI system that does assist in the raid it would be an improvement since you can’t trust people to not be this toxic nor troll, but like any thing they put into a game there is always a cost we have to pay for it.
Unfortunately this community breeds toxicity but hang in there and you’ll be able to outshine the haters!
Raider wannabes.
Thats who Ive found are generally causing the drama and foaming in the chat box when some petty mistake happens.
LFR is literally low skill players and newbies a lot of time. You run LFR, you deal with that possibility.
It wasnt the players making mistakes who made me quit wanting to raid, it was the foul mouthed, “cant find a real raid group because im not very good” sorts who think they are raiders but couldnt make the cut, so they come into LFR and lowbie 5 mans to screech at everyones every misstep so they can boost their own bruised low self esteem.
I got tired of seeing it, so I quit doing the content.
Op,I know the discouragement in lfr but don’t let them win ,Keep going and keep trying I gave up on tanking lfr back in panderia but that didn’t stop me forming a raid(now it does but that another subject) I believe in giving chances to others that want to have their first raid experience even when some are less civil ,most are not.
We do have a problem with loud mouths in raids when it comes to kicks, people don’t stand up and say no to these guys and everyone follows to click that button. Stand up and say no because we all started doing our first raid in lfr.
Shrug it off. You’ll probably never see him again.
You’ll have half the DPS not doing any mechanics but if you’re a tank that messes up once all Maw breaks loose.
a lot of people in LFR treat it as a solo game mode – as far as they’re concerned, they’re the only real player and everyone else is an NPC whose sole job should be getting them to the loot they deserve. the later in the week it gets, the more of them you run into.
It’s a bummer too. Tanking is my favorite role but I just hate how so many people treat tanks as babysitters.
thats why i only do keys with my friends tanking cause they actually run around helping not just dps’n helping even if its just picking something like getting urh and what not.
This. I am newer to WoW and it happens once a week or so. I just move on. Some people forget they were new once too, or that they struggled once upon a time, or that sometimes mistakes happen.
Scroll up, right click his name, report…
Relatable experience. My first time ever tanking in LFR recently and I got flamed into oblivion.
The elitism in this community is very offputting.
This is what I miss about server communities, if there was a toxic player(s), you knew who they were and were basically blacklisted from groups.
i honestly thought people got less toxic as they aged as the wow playerbase has quite a bit guess not.
I get it, but Blizzard has a strict policy that it’s stuck to for almost 2 decades: protect people who abuse others at all costs.
Never name those who do you harm.
atm with so little to do the whole LFR system is a complete mess with people messing about , going afk on purpose etc etc , on the other side we recently had to boot a tank who did not know what he was doing and when i tried to explain and got no answer it turns out did not speak english either (and this has happened multiple times over the last few months) - throw in waiting time queues of 1-2 hrs (yes hours ) and people understandably get frustrated when others are making it take even more time on purpose .
*im talking about the amount of ppl messing about on purpose atm in lfr - not the OP who is trying to learn and getting no leeway.
Aizen taicho. Why didn’t you show them your BANKAIIIII. If only you used it… these damn insects dare kick you out? You could take their souls away for this blasphemy!
If someone is being abusive in chat, you ARE able to report them. Just click on the player’s name and Report and pick an appropriate option.
However, kicking someone from a group isn’t reportable. Anyone can be removed from a group for any reason and Blizzard do not consider it reportable or ‘toxic’. It happens to most people from time to time, human beings being what they are. Unless it turns into harassment outside the instance, then just shrug and move on.
