On horde side at least In Dorn and Orgrimmar it’s darker than what its used to be. I tried to see my settings but nothing changed. Anyone else noticed that or is it just me? I checked my alliance alt and Dorn was fine but not horde side.
Was it dark and cloudy? Could be a different phase where it’s raining.
I don’t see rain anymore. I have no idea why. I see dark clouds. I hear thunder. No rain.
While playing my main horde undead, it’s dark with dark clouds and snowing in orgrimmar, in Dorn it’s snowing and dark with dark clouds. If you go outside of Dorn to the Island of Dorn it’s still dark with snow and the sun doesn’t exist. Did you reroute all resources to the plunderstorm servers or something?
Sounds more like you’ve got a toy effect going on.
Much rarer, but there are also some items from the Timeless Isle that can change the weather for anyone in the vicinity. No buff you can click off either.
Edit: Nevermind, it appears to have been a toy after all.

The only black potion doesn’t have snow.
I don’t know which toy or whatnot, but I noticed that I had a buff that allowed the whether to change. I right clicked it from the top right hand corner and all the sudden the sun was up and Dorn was beautiful.
It is winter. Everything is dark, gloomy, dead and dirty.
God I hate the winter. Sorry, I just miss the sun and green leaves in the trees.
Yeah, some of the newer weather effects are unnecessary. I’ve also noticed the darkening stormy type weather, but mainly in Dornogal/Isle of Dorn.
