Because in every round i was against him i said “go monk, dont let him ToD you guys” but idk man, the ppl in lobbies are dumb af. The other dps wasn’t DPSing the monk most of the time.
Brother damage is so bursty now it’s not even worth taking the talent point in ToD, make it 25% like execute and we’ll talk.
I win a lot of games with touch of death.
Would have to nerf its damage, and functionality significantly.
I do wish it was 17-20% though.
I will say I was in a RSS lobby with another fistweaving mw yesterday, and we took turns bodying a WW. Think we both had 2 KBs that game. 4 Touch of deaths. Haha.
Agree, but also, Wars are literally executing for 200k now with fatal mark, so we need to go ahead and nerf that also.
I touch’d a dragon with freddy in 2s for 178k and it didn’t die. Idk, his hp went down to nothing and shot back up. Other times you keep someone below 10% hp and touch will never light up. I swear it’s the buggiest ability.
you realize you are just asking them to not let their hp get low? You should probably read the ability tooltip to help understand it a little better.
I know what ToD does, that’s why i said go monk, to get his HP down.
What does the monk’s hp have to do with touch of death?
Considering he called it a “touch of death sentence” he probably still thinks ToD works like it did in BFA where you can use it whenever and it does damage after 8sec.
I think I’ve gotten maybe 1 or 2 ToD off in the last 2 weeks in arena, people just die before it even procs.

In pvp, it’s an execute ability that only becomes available once the enemy target drops below 15% hp. The monk’s hp is irrelevant to touch of death in pvp.
LOL did he really think ToD in PVP works like it does in PVE? “GUYS WE HAVE TO KEEP OUR HP ABOVE 380K OR THIS WW IS GONNA 1 SHOT US WITH TOD!” that is some DH brain right there

Yep, so to not get touch of death used on you just keep your hp above 15%.

Don’t worry for some reason my arena partners complain about this ability way more than they should about it being OP. OP isn’t finishing off a already dead player OP is the abilities that take you from 70-0 before your next global is ready.
if it actually worked properly and didnt take 2 seconds to update to what their health actually is.
