Touch of Death is garbage

Touch of Death; that worked like a death mark felt satsifying. You pressed it; pumped tons of damage into a mark and saw the target just get CHUNKED… even in raid fights you could use it multiple times during a fight… now we have the OG TOD… you wait till the boss is lower health than you which is below 1%; it doesnt even do your health as damage and goes on a 3 minuite cooldown.

You people that enjoy this variant of Touch of Death are such a mystery to me.

*The Execute ToD was/is good for PVP but feels like complete trash in PVE.

I enjoy this variant of Touch of Death. You are a mystery to me. The Gale Burst mechanic is going to be put into Xuen after getting leveled in SL. You are literally losing nothing. I don’t see what your problem is.

I like seeing a mob get instantly deleted while on my Brewmaster. Super fun.

The delay is super annoying

It isnt a delay it is a mark of death that you could cook to do an insane pop?

Except 2 minutes and a rotational cooldown.

The 10% damage that goes into xuen can be cced in PvP and you straight up lose 10% of your damage. Touch of death feels really bad right now and also seems to proc at literally the last moment so you can overkill a target for like 50k damage, I guess we will have to wait till 60 to find how it scales.

Only issue I have is it’s unreliability in pvp right now, seeing targets hit the point and not be usable is a slap in the face and not sure how the broke it when this wasn’t even a problem in MoP beta.

I mean there’s that and the death of Pressure Points. Wasn’t as good in Arenas, but severely underrated in BGs.

Just about every other talent was better 90% of the time than that talent, you just lost some kind of utility or dmg that just didn’t make it worth it for our limited resources

I mean for what I do/did in PvP, I’m rarely out of resources. Unless we’re talking arena, where it was handy for snipes, but a lot more interchangeable.

Touch of Death can now be used on targets with less than 15% health remaining, dealing 35% of your maximum health in damage.

You can use ToD on targets with less than 15% hp.

Not energy/chi

Maybe should have said utility for to keep in wow terminology, working also and writing work reports atm.

Pressure point doesn’t matter if you cant get to there.

Maybe because I didn’t bother with it was why I didn’t have problems staying on range?
You always tell me you have issues with them

I mean in most cases where I couldn’t get there it wasn’t because of lack of utility. It was usually because heavy CC/third parties get involved or both.

Only if they have reliable mobility like druid or shaman and/or if they have peels.

Again stop focusing on wow terminology. It was a poor choice of words, do I have to actually go edit the word out? So you stop going down that line of thinking?

You exploit the enemy target’s weakest point, instantly killing creatures if they have less health than you

That’s the pve version.

A raid boss only has less health then you in the last 1-2%

Nah that talent was excellent… you still got the pop and if they went below X health it just outright killed them and gave you a reset

This ToD and Xuen is trash

Read rank 2

That’s not rank 2 that’s the pvp aspect lmao.

It’s still incredibly lackluster theme wise… ToD felt like a mark of death and fit the monk feel so well but now it’s just a button you press once a fight then goes on a long cooldown

it says nothing about player targets and has been activating for me when bosses are below 15% for weeks now

Okay so you press it then the boss goes from 15% to 12% big whoop… it’s a joke of an ability
