I’ve tried in numerous games to kill totems like Skyfury/Windfury/Grounding with CJL in arena and it always says ‘immune’.
AFAIK totems aren’t immune to any direct targeted ability…can someone confirm if this also happens to them and if it’s a bug or intended? Cause if so it needs to be reported as it can easily be a reason we lose a match in PvP.
Doing some low cr no voice games often my DPS don’t kill the totems so it’s good for me to snipe with CJL…except I can’t and I don’t typically have time to get in melee range.
I just tested it in a duel and every totem was immune to CJL, to kill them I had to use a melee ability.

Oh so it’s intended? I wasn’t sure.
Not sure if it’s because it’s a channelled ability, though it’s still a direct targeted.
If intended, seems kinda unfair since all other healers can kill totems from range fairly easily.
I think you’re correct in your assumption about it being a weird interaction with a channeled spell.
They need to fix this…
Right after they make xuen not immune to most cc.
Pretty sure channeled spells that don’t deal immediate damage (are there any?) have always fizzled into totems.
It also doesn’t interrupt flag caps which can be frustrating.
