Totems from Trading post only being usable on the Tauren races...why even bother putting them in?

No one complained about the quiver and ammo pack back mogs only being able to be used by hunters.

The totems in question are specific to Tauren culture. Each raceā€™s totems are unique to that respective race.

Would love to see Orcish & Troll totem back mogs for Orcs and Trolls.

They could easily do that without making it require Trading Post coins since it is ā€œtheir thingā€ OR they could just make it available to all races in the game therefore benefitting everyone. If they wanted to put Tauren-only totems in the game, it should be in a questline for Taurens only, like the Heritage armor is for their respective races.

Then put them on a heritage armor seller. It was definitely a waste of slots and tender when I bought them. Since when do we put Heritage Armors on the Trading Post? What nonsense is this?

As I understand it, the traders post was conceived to allow people to get certain transmogs among other things without having to design an entire questline for something that would otherwise be a throwaway nicK-nack or recolored item.

That way they can keep adding in stuff, even if itā€™s a recolor or rehash of an already existing thing (like the 40+ cloaks on the TP) without needing to implement an entire quest for each and every thing that they do add.

Having it race specific does kinda feel meh sometimes but this way you can do the in-game activities and intentionally seek out those pieces to earn them if you really do like them.

I think itā€™s a great system as is.

If I was a Tauren main this would be nice thing to have. since im a droood i can just save my tendies.

With all due respect, it is clearly the biggest of deals to the OP. Theyā€™ve never wanted anything more in life, and now the thing they never had has been taken away from them. Itā€™s a real slap in the face.

that sounds like malarkey. they added a glasses vendor by the barbershop, why couldā€™nt they do that with other items as well?

heck, thereā€™s tons of vendors theyā€™ve added over the years that sell stuff nobody will buy (iā€™m mostly talking about food vendors, the food doesā€™nt even give buffs!), why not just give us a random vendor that sells stuff like that?

the trading post was added to give people a reason to pop onto WoW every month, to try and get some cool cosmetics. the tenders were addedā€¦ i canā€™t think of a reason why they added it, maybe to make some items feel ā€˜prestigiousā€™ without players having to put in the effort, i dunno.

Bingo. Class specific and race specific mogs donā€™t belong in the Trading Post, imo. They belong in questlines or the like.

7 slots in the Trading Post taken up by stuff Iā€™ll never use or buy. Sure, I get to save a lot of Tender, but thatā€™s a lot of wasted potential for transmogs that more than one class or race can use.

Iā€™ve pretty much come to accept that Blizzard is survived only on Nostalgia. I myself have moved on to FFXIV and only come back to scratch that annoying itch. Now if Blizzard did get back to form Iā€™d love it to pieces.

Sadly that will never happen. They now literally only feed off of nostalgia. Enjoy your new games and I hope it goes well for you.
