Im thinking Farseer…thoughts?
Ive never seen the excitement for a class so low right before an xpac. I dont think anyone really cares whats best for pvp right now sadly

i was tryna get people hyped up. I aint gonna lie…I love shaman, but neither of the Rsham sets appeal to me. Farseer is just gonna be a riptide machine.
I also confess, I saw all of the paladin hero talents…lightsmith looks good. They all do really. And with the tier sets…its gonna be a beast…until it gets nerfed into oblivion.
As long as totems have 5 hp dont think totemic is an option.

Totemic won’t be viable unless they give totems a lot more hp.

Totemic looks strong for epic bgs. Regular bgs they going to be just ok if you can stay in team fights I’d say, maybe on par with farseer. Arena it seems like farseer would be a lot better. Totemics instant chain heals on totem drops and healing stream doing 50% more healing on a second target seems solid. I wonder if the instant chain heal has an actual proc limit or if you can put out 4 healing stream totems back to back and get a chain from each.
I’m a little annoyed that Farseer gets a talent that improves Spiritwalker’s Aegis because I’ve been saying for months that Rsham “aura mastery” needs to be better. 5 seconds every 2 minutes isn’t enough, and I wanted a baseline buff.
In my opinion Tidebringer needs to be made undispellable.
Farseer for Ele PvP since it’s just the Meatball spam it’s been since SL. IDK about the other specs.
I don’t think either is going to be great for pvp. For Totemic they will just kill your totem and leave you with it/them stuck on cooldown. For Farseer dropping a cc on you will also stop whatever the spirits would be doing.
Though if I had to pick it would be Farseer. The ancestors can be used both offensively and defensively depending on the situation, and the buff it gets to Earthshield is much better than Totemic’s tiny absorb shield every 30 seconds.
I just want beta so I can test these things I keep reading about. I’ve pre-purchased the physical collectors edition, but have no way of getting the early beta access with that.
I’ve gotten beta access the last 3 expacs fairly early in the beta, so there is still hope.
