Can we get some sort of built in totem management system? A generic “Totems” button that you can put on your action bar and hold down the key binding could bring up a radial wheel similar to the ping system. The radial would have a list of any totems you somehow slot into to the generic totem spell. I think it would help with the feeling of ability bloat on my bars while keeping the coolness of shamans have a totem for many different situations. Heck, i wouldn’t mind 100 different totems in the talent trees if I had this feature. I could just pick and choose 4 or 5 different totems I know I would need for certain situations.
Back when we had a lot more totems, I would keybind each of the 4 elements.
ASDF, each totem assigned to one element, and depending on the situation, I would Shift, control or alt modify that key to drop a different totem of that element.
Now there isn’t enough totems but if you modify every single key and mouse button, you should have plenty of hotkeys for retail.
I think you could probably achieve that with the “Opie” addon.

Absolutely… I loved dropping all my totems at once with a button click and having them all around me… it really dug into the class fantasy of a shaman for me… I barely use totems now that they are just spot utility devices, for the most part.
That was good back then but now you drop a totem for situations.
Tww is feeling like its stepping back into the realm of them being more prevalent. Levelling in beta i was almost always dropping multiple totems in succession as totemic

Id be pretty happy if blizz made it baseline i think it would help a lot for console players

Have re cast totem button every 30 seconds.
Not fun gameplay, and it held shaman back from being a real class until they deleted maintenance totems.
if that were the case, then please explain why in TBC, wrath and cata, shamans had a spec in the top 4 dps WHILE having some of the strongest utility in the game. So we going off facts, or your opinion?

Honestly I think all totems should be off the gcd.
I’d love to make macros where I can put together groups of totems I want to drop at the same time.
