Totem macro help

Hey, I was wondering if there’s anyway to macro totems to just be casted at your targets feet instead of @cursor or @player macros, like I’m talking id like to be able to just push my capacitor totem while targeting my tank and it just instantly put it at his feet and stun everything around him. Is this at all possible or am I forced into using @cursor or mouseover macros ?
id like to say I tried the basic

#showtooltip
/cast [@target] Capacitor Totem

but it still makes me click it afterwards so thats not what I want

No I think they removed this ability from macro’s. From what some of my guildies have said it was possible in the past but no longer.

What Rokume says, all macro guides and manuals have @cursor as the best option, you can’t drop AOE at target location =(

DISAPPOINTED!

Yeah this used to be a thing back in WotLK I believe, but sadly we can’t do it anything, removed in Legion or WoD iirc.

You can use @cursor to cast at your mouse cursor, but you have to literally place your cursor where you would if you were clicking to place it (you can’t hover a unit frame to place it - that would be @target and doesn’t work).

It would be really good to have this functionality back, for things like vesper totem, earthbind totem, and more…
