Totally Pawesome Druid Macros Tested In Beta and Ready for Classic

Updated /startattack commands in Cat Form melee ability macros to include the [nostealth] condition. This ensures that spamming the macro while prowling won’t cause you to auto-attack yourself out of stealth just because you happened to be out of range or not meeting facing requirements when you started spamming.

Durrus you should consider replacing !cat form with this:

/stand
/dismount
/cancelform [noform:3]
/castsequence reset=2 cat form, null

It lets you spam cat form without accidentally shifting twice, but also lets you pop back out of cat form into human form if you press it after a 2 second delay. Very good for power shifting!

Same here. Maybe it just isn’t possible? edit: The prowl macro works as intended - I shift into cat, and then prowl nearly instantaneously. Notably, prowl has no energy cost.

Great thread.

I tried to macro FF/Insect Swarm together the other day, by using a simple /cast /cast form, but only Faerie Fire is going off. Is there something I’m missing that’s preventing Insect Swarm from being cast? It seems like it should be very uncomplicated, no form or aura changing needed.

You can’t cast two spells with one button press.

Great post. i have a great deal of these macro’ed to my druid already, especially the potion/bear shift spells. or things like /cancelform /cast War Stomp to the regrowth/rejuv/bear shift again.

takes the awkwardness out of manually shifting (gcd), taking action (cast/gcd), then shifting back to bear.

Was healing a dungeon and another druid was tanking. He had a macro to cancel form, cast innervate on me and shift back to bear. It was seamless and greatly appreciated. Wondering what that macro would look like?

Something like:

#showtooltip
/cancelform
/cast [@mousover, help] Innervate; Innervate
/cast Bear Form

The problem will all these macros is that they are all good, but you only have so many macro slots available to use.

I know this is a fairly old thread, but I just wanted to say Thank you for this. New druid here and this is exactly what I was looking for. :grinning::heart:

In your macro page there are 2 sections, 1 is account wide (I think) and the other is character specific.
For the character specific macro page there is a limited (12 or 18 or something) amount of macros you can make. However in your other macro section (for the account) you can make a lot more, might be unlimited.
So put these macros in the account macro page, that way additionally if you happen to make another druid you can use these without having to redo them for the new character.
Just make sure you label them in a way that is easy to find. For example all my Druid Macros I start with ‘D’ and then the macro name. For my warrior macros they start with ‘W’ then macro name.

These macros are amazing. Thank you for doing this and posting it for us.

I am looking for an extremely lazy macro for Cat form.
Basically I would like to consolidate Ravage, Shred and Claw into 1 button.
So a macro that would cast Ravage if it was availible (stealthed and behind target and enough Energy), then if Ravage isn’t availible cast Shred (behind target and enough Energy) and if neither of those 2 were availible cast Claw.
Is something like this possible?

If not, can at least Ravage and 1 of these be used in a macro? Like, Ravage if stealthed and Shred if not stealthed?

A macro isn’t going to know if you have enough energy, or if you are behind an opponent. You can do the second example like this:
#showtooltip
/cast [stealth] Ravage; Shred

I did not know this! Thanks!

It’s 120 for shared, and 18 per unique character.

120 is a lot of macros, and it’s unlimited as far as most people need to care.

Thank you Groot!

I have the same situation here! Can someone guess why this is happening and what can we do to solve this problem?
I’m using this macro:
#showtooltip Feral Charge
/stand
/dismount
/stopcasting
/cancelform [noform:1]
/cast [noform:1] Dire Bear Form
/cast [noform:1] Bear Form
/cast Feral Charge

But every time i hit the button the Bear Form is casted ok but then the message “not enough rage” comes on the screen.
Ps: I have Furor 5/5 and as soon as the rage msg appears i get 10 rage automatically.

you have to hit the macro twice

I love this, 1st time playing druid on wow ever. Question is there a way that i can cast Tigers fury then Shred from stealth without using Tigers-fury more then once ? Its my pve opener but if im not line up correctly it cast Tigers-fury twice before Shred the NPC .

Lol a post about Druids
