Totally Pawesome Druid Macros Tested In Beta and Ready for Classic

The shortest way is to remove the /stand command, which must be throwing you an error.

The long way is to add this to the beginning of the macro:
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide();

and then add this to the end of the macro:
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear();
/script UIErrorsFrame:Show();

which will turn off your error frame at the start of the macro, then clear it before turning it back on.

Confirmed, working like a charm; most grateful, my good Sir!

Copied the bear form and cat form macros verbatim and double checked them. I can go bear form to cat form with no problem. It will not work the other way around. I get error message of cant do that while shapeshifted or cant cast that while moving. Is this working as intended or is there something im missing. Using a ui addon if that helps. Dont remember which one. Can check after work

Migrating from my 120 troll druid to my 23 tauren druid and this is a HUGE help; thanks for the post and I look forward to kicking even more butt as a druid.

I didn’t have that exact issue, but I did have some issues with the form numbers since I hadn’t gotten all the forms yets. (aquatic and travel)

Perhaps try changing the form number of cat from 3 to 2?

I didnt get aquatic right away until i had already gotten cat form. So i have it listed as 3. I just got travel form yesterday and it works great with bear back and forth. And travel work good going into cst but not out. So it has something to do with cat form. Also i disabled my ui mod and its still doing it.

I’ve been using this exact macro and it’s not working. It will cast prowl if I’m in cat form but it doesn’t switch forms. It seems to behave as if [noform:3] does absolutely nothing. I have aquatic form.

Any macro I try using [noform:{number}] does not function as intended. Could it possibly be one of my add-ons preventing this from working?

Edit: I made a dumb mistake and forgot to actually put my macro on my action bar.

I’m having the same issue. I tried changing it to noform:2 and prowl still doesn’t activate.

My problem ended up being that Prowl was on my action bar and not my Prowl macro. Stupid mistake. But if I did it that might be your issue as well :man_shrugging:

The number correlates to the form position on your class action bar starting at 1 to the left for bear/dire bear form. So cat form is 2 if you don’t have aquatic form and 3 if you do. I suppose it’s possible cat form could be 1 as well if you never got bear form or aquatic form.

I love these, thank you so much.

I do have one question.

Since I’m in form, showing the tooltip for these spells is still dim, because I can’t cast them in form, even though the actual macro allows me to cast them.

Is there a way to show the active tooltip for a spell while in form and not the dim, you can’t cast this, version?

#showtooltip Healing Touch (or other specific spell name) should show the tooltip for the actual spell (instead of having just #showtooltip).

Yeah but it still dims out like it’s inactive when you go into form.

Hm. Probably an action bar setting somewhere, then; might be able to find it in interface options, or it might require use of an addon in some way.

the majority of these macros you’ll never want to use. They will just ruin your play experience more then benefiting them. Most are actually useless.

Cat form to claw, really? A druid should have their skills keybound, including their shifts.

I agree for the most part, some macros are still very useful for saving keypresses, like cancelform on specific spells, saving you the form keypress to cancel it manually.

/stopcasting
/cancelform [nostance:1/3]
/cast [nostance:1/3]Faerie Fire;[stance:1/3]Faerie Fire (Feral)

Macros like this save you a lot of tedious keypresses, no reason not to use them. Will simply FF a target with one press if you’re say chasing after them in travel form, rather than having to press travel form keybind then FF keybind, and at the same time will use FFF if you’re in bear or cat form, saving you a few extra binds for the same ability.

Macros like this on your thorns, mark of the wild, roots/hibernate, ect, will make druid feel more fluid.

Think the only macros I used were simply to change between forms. But do have like… 37 keybinds, so that may be why not fond of macros.

I was just wondering last night if there was a way to ‘powershift’ bear form for rapid consumable usage without getting caught out and crushed. No pots is huge limiting factor, even at a low level. This could also be a real end-game changer for stuff like Chromaggus.

As a druid tank determined to do all the raids, I owe you my life.

Hello and thanks for the great work

have used so many of these macros

I’m only level 34 so I don’t have Dire Bear yet but I’m looking for a feral charge mouseover macro that pretty much does what your macro for feral charge does

I just can’t get it to work – would anyone mind listing a feral charge macro from any form that can be mouseover as well — and one question — does the Dire Bear portion of it cause issues because I haven’t attained that ability yet?

again thanks for the work — it’s been invaluable to me

im actually in the same boat with the feral charge macro, it seems like even though i have 5/5 furor i have to click the macro two times for it to work, its like you click it one time to go into bear and then a second time to actually initiate the charge. its like it doesnt credit you for the furor right away or something. anyone have this issue?

The switch to form to ability macros don’t work for me as there’s a delay before gaining the rage/energy from furor, anyone else? My ping is pretty low too, below 30.
