A movement for what?
To say curse words?
Like you saying you don’t like the ability shiv isn’t what got ya… it’s the curse words.
I feel as though a part of the context is missing here somewhere though…
If you want to swear, jump on an OCE server, but have thicker skin than you do currently, we might make you cry. You seem overly sensative and breakable.
They are just following the current fad or rather the one on its way out. Just wait for it to burn itself out.
The movement is to have them addressed.
1.) The punishments.
2.) The actual identifier system. It should not just see a cuss word and go BOOP! BAN!
Except it won’t. Unfortunately, I think this is actually going to be the new norm.
Not worth the risk anymore it is just better off being a robot. Not saying a thing.
Cause even if you say something that could be potentially helpful. I’ve seen players get in trouble for that too.
Profanity has always been a violation of the EULA.

I dunno, i swear all the time in chat, party, raid, trade, and havent been chat restricted since S4 SL when I ran into a Tichondrius player… even then i doubt it was from the swearing.
Some do. Some don’t.
You’re not wrong that there is a problem with the automated report system. I doubt it will get changed to anything better though, because AI is cheaper than paying actual people to moderate your game.
BUT
You need to NOT make this be about cursing if you want to have any hope of changing the report system. Profanity is simply not something Blizzard will go along with, filter or no filter. Too many people find profanity laced comments offensive. It’s not the words that bother many, it’s the attitude. You may eventually understand when you are more mature. This isn’t about YOU and YOUR “right” to express yourself, it’s about respect for OTHERS.
Go into solo shuffles and do it. Watch or raid finder. It will literally open your eyes.
I do… maybe stop aiming it at people and just do it like a decent human. As someone said above, take your mute like a big they.

No, I don’t think you get it.
No cussing or cussing your missing the bigger picture. People are getting banned for helping people. People are getting banned for saying run away during PI and dark angel. People are getting banned for teaching people how to do raid fights.
It is getting out of hand. Cussing is just how it impacted me.
No, I will not change because of some delusion of respect. Respect is earned not given for free. In my culture and country I’m from cussing is extremely prevalent. My country is notoriously known for cussing. If cussing was the absolute problem then the profanity filter does exist.
Wasn’t aiming at anyone. Was laughing and commenting on how shiv broke with a cuss word mate and then couple of hours later silence. lol.

Hyperbole will not help your cause. When you exaggerate like this, it makes me suspect your other claims are exaggerations as well. You won’t get any help with your “movement” if people decide you’re a whiner who’s just upset that they can’t swear and get away with it.
*A silence is not a ban. Is it okay if someone gets silenced for trying to help? Of course not. But it’s not remotely the same as a ban.
Honestly did you harp on as much as you have during this post? Its weird that your actions have caught up to your consequence.
A lot of adults swear, but a lot of adults also know that actions come with consequence, maybe you’ll learn that one soon. Grats on learning a few cuss words tho.

I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE LITERALLY BE BANNED FOR HELPING PEOPLE.
LEGIT AND YES A BAN IN MY PERSPECTIVE IS STILL CONSIDERED A SILENCE, SQUELCH, SUSPENSION. It really is so sad and needs to be addressed.
