Im a female player. Aesthetics matter to me and I am literally on the fence with this. 50/50 on the dot. I was hoping some opinions would sway my choice. The whole reason I have been NE for a long time now is not for the racials. Its due to the fact that I LOVE their attack animations. Nightborn are the same.
I am taking this DK Horde. I am torn between Nightborne, Zand Troll or Vulpera.
Opinions?

Nightborne have pretty poor racials, and a decent amount of their animations are different than night elves’.
Zand Trolls, unless you would like to become one of 4 nightborne players in the game.
I feel like I am on the bleeding/near death faction. All my friends have gone Horde. Im the only one left. Sick of dealing with it. Sorry. I love you anyway <3
The Zandalari have a pretty cool sword for a DK.
You realize that with more and more alliance players moving to horde, blizzard eventually will do something to shift the power to alliance. And we all know how blizzard works, alliance probably will be op for a while.
Not while Ion runs things. Sorry dont see it happening. He would have to make the racials broken AND offer free one way transfers to Alliance at this point. To much damage has been done. Like I said though. All my friends are Horde now anyway
That’s not shifting players if we consider the power from alliance allied races. It’s really just a bigger community over there.

Nightborne, Zand Troll or Vulpera. My reasons are listed in my OP
Male troll have fantastic melee animations,female troll aint bad either.
Male zandalari is pretty good.
All pandaren animations are absolutely superb.
Vulpera wield their swords straight up to their right and that looks pretty cool, but nothing fancy.
Thanks for that insight. I would only play a female character though for a obvious reason I mentioned above. As I said I adore the Nightborne attacks. Its the same as Nightlef

I humored the sword as it will fit a zandalari death knight compared to finding a weapon for any of the other choices. I’m more traditional with the death knight lore so I stick close to what that race would wield.

What names do you get for the three?
You know the more and more I look at your Zand sward the more I love it. Have the wow head link? Names take a lot of thought. Ill worry about that later lol

Read my OP state your opinion of which race I should pick. Whoever gets more votes ill most likely pick. Ill let this post run for a few days and check on it frequently.
I vote for Nightborne.
It sounds like you liked the character as is (?), and going Zandalari or Vulpera may make it feel, to some extent, like a brand-new character.
Nightborne would allow you to aesthetically – more or less – play a Night Elf while still Horde.
Caveat:
I’m sure you’re aware, but Nightborne are a huge step down in character customization from Night Elves, but I have to think Blizzard will see to the Nightborne at some point. (I hope)
Thoughts on Zandalari and Vulpera:
Zandalari are pretty awesome, and they’re tall and Night Elf-esque in some ways.
They certainly have better customization than Nightborne, though not as good as the core races.
They have a very different vibe - gold, dinosaurs, loas.
Vulpera would be a real change. You’d go from one of the taller playable races to one of the shortest. They’re cool and have neat racials, but it’s a long jump away from Night Elf.
Suggestion:
If you’ve not already, can I suggest making a trial death knight of each of the three races and playing around in the tutorial to see if that moves you one way or another.
It would allow you to play one of each before committing with your real character.
Whatever you choose, try to keep the name Deathly! It’s cool.
