Is there any consensus on which spec is the best at soloing torghast ?

I have ran tough at through with feral and guardian. They are both well rounded specs to do it. Guardian obviously a safer bet and was able to clear mobs pretty fast too surprisingly enough.

I main resto but leveled 50-60 as Guardian. Ended up doing end game solo content such as Torghast as Guardian also, and I’ve been smashing through everything, including the level 3 Toghast final bosses that some other people have had trouble with. Every other spec is just too squishy right now imo and just not worth the tiny bit more damage output.

Do you know if torghast scales health down for tank / healer specs?
After some testing I’m leaning towards feral/guardian
guardian main, feral off spec here. i found it significantly easier to use guardian. especially after the anima powers stack up and your dps becomes huge
Guardian has been working best for me, focusing mostly on the powers that extend Barkskin’s duration and cause it to deal damage to attackers, along with the handful of other powers that just deal damage to anything that attacks you.
Also, Galactic Guardian with the power that makes Arcane damage have a chance to turn enemies into inanimate objects and instantly kill them.

Been running balance affinity in guardian… with the power that gives permanent heart of the wild — pretty much can delete bosses and annoying mobs going boomy form and pumping… definitely liking guardian the most for torghast now
also, sunfire removes all the little stuff too from range.
Is Torghast that hard? I’ve yet to be able to do it but you fellas don’t think solo’ing as boomy is a good time?
Boomy is very squishy right now and haste levels are low. That coupled with a ramp up makes for not a good combo for boomy
not saying its not doable… people clearing all floors just fine as boomy… just after doing it on guardian it was sooo much easier… and just pick balance affinity so you can pretend to still be a boomy

Hah, well I think I’ll take my chances 
I feel pretty powerful as boom even now. Low haste definitely feels badly but I’d imagine it feels as badly as low crit for feral. I mean with options like trees, mass entangle, having wild charge, typhoon, and either incap roar or ursol’s, I can’t imagine things would even hit me 
I did 1 layer as feral and 3 more as Guardian, way easier as guardian tbh.
As boomkin, I’ve cleared all 3 levels on both of the Torghast sections open this week - except for the Eye boss, who is unkillable by anyone under 180 ilvl right now.
I tried one run as guardian, and I just got eaten alive by the caster elites. YMMV.
i swap to moonkin form / balance affinity and delete them
I’ve only done feral and boomkin, feral felt way better, probably because of being melee. I’d go feral or bear
I did resto and barely took any damage In any layer so far.
Abused entangle and moon fire buffs.
I’m sure there’s many more builds thst can work too.
I always seem to end up taking a barkskin dps path on the higher floors. Soooo fun
To answer your question…the buffs available in there make every single spec viable imo. Druid is going to be very good in torghast

Is this true? I’ve yet to do the 2nd wing thing but I cleared 3 layers on one of them. Is the eye boss an optional rare or something? What makes it so difficult? I’ve yet to even take damage from a boss.
I cleared all three layers as resto and I don’t think I had a single scare. I want even close to 180 ilvl when i did them either.
I am pretty skilled at these types of game modes though so I don’t forsee any problems at all.
Guardian should work - I was using barkskin a ton to destroy everything in higher levels so…maybe just be clever on which powers you decide to take. It shouldn’t ever be an obvious choice…take your time.
That guy said the 180ilvl was just for an “eye boss.” I don’t know what that one is but so far all bosses, including layer 3 ones, have literally done 0 pts of damage to me.
And I feel pretty good at these too. I mean I could also do and even sell 5 mask visions as boomy. Admittedly I was rushing through this morning because I had to work lol. The last layer I ended up essentially stealth skipping the last two floors and just zerging the boss.
The epic powers are very good for druids and when it buffs starsurge/swiftmend or convoke, I’m all for it. I also love the common one that requires eclipses to me activated with only one spell. I’ve not yet tried a lot of gimmick builds but I could see their potential. I just amp my damage and QoL basically. My convokes are just… literally taking layer 3 bosses to 40% or better.

Yeah I did all 3 layers on both corridors and really had no problem. Did them on the 2nd day with ilvl around 140. I stealthed the last 2 floors like you and then for the last boss just put up all the bleeds, zerk and convoke and nuked the piss out of him. Just healed from time to time and it died pretty quick. I will say the jump from layer 2 to layer 3 was a massive spike in challenge for the first 2 floors.
