He hits like a BOSS, nerf that npc

They should replace it with a mob that saps you every 5 seconds, with no DR and regardless of combat, for the next 20 minutes if you afk.

As a brewmaster I had zero issues with layer 6 last week. Just tried layer 7 and was completely wrecked on the first floor. The shadestalker was also spawning mid-pull for me, not only when I wasn’t in combat. I assume something needs to be hotfixed, so I just quit on the second floor. It was not fun blowing cooldowns on every pull.

I got hit with one when I was only out of combat for twenty seconds. :man_shrugging: I think we need to be a little more realistic with anything concerning the most difficult Layers at this point though.

This is BEING realistic an assassin who LIKES to kill AFK players should NOT hit like a truck like the last boss in layer 7.

Blizzard BROKE Torghast.

congratulations.

Another FAIL.

one of the worst things in torghast imo, defeats the whole purpose of being able to take the content at your own pace, just one of many Shadowland lies.

Is it just me or am I weird? I actually prefer the assassins to other torment. The assassins I can deal with… 25% increased health pools? Not so much…

Step on a lego, twice.

just YOU assassins are overpowered.

Makes you wonder why they bother putting the puzzles in there.

Yeah that assassin does hit like a truck. I was lucky and got the ability to have instant demon summons on my warlock. Each assassin went through like 5 demons before I killed him as demonology.

Get stronger, lift bro

I love the fact that Mages are not given a heal because “you have table for that…”

Then I cant stinking sit to eat because I keep getting dive-bombed…

I barely got through level 6 on my priest last week and it took a long time. I don’t think I want 85 additional soul ash that much to try level 7 or 8.

It’s super annoying. I was attempting layer 5 last night and noticed the change. I’ve not cleared 5 yet but I might have been able to this week had that mawsworn shadestalker not hit like a truck. I didn’t get far enough to really feel the extent of the other buffs/nerfs, but this one stood out to me.

And it’s mostly the fact that it spawns mid pull. It’s supposed to be just out of combat, but it doesn’t work very well when the moment you pull was just in time for the mawsworn to spawn. That’s my issue with it.

Personally I wish they’d get rid of the AFK timer altogether, but if not, at least nerf the damage a bit.

I got to the very last boss on layer 7 and died at 3% because he critical hit me for 21k. Going back today to get my revenge. Doing it solo as a balance druid.

Assassin is literally your least important problem with 7+ floor. Infinitely stacking damage buff on elites and bosses - that’s real knee breaker. I don’t have enough dps to kill some elites before they kill me in 190

The assassin is the hardest hitting mob in there, above the elites, floor bosses, and maybe the final boss (depending on who you get). They definitely need their damage nerfed quite a bit.

just had a similar experience on my Prot Warrior, barely made it past floor 1 after an easy clear last week, whomever got the task to make these changes was mad at something and decided to wreck Torghast instead, because in its current form i wont be going back in - good thing I already made one leggo.

The assassin definitely hits harder than some of the elites (until they are fully buffed). My felguard can tank two elites long enough for me to kill one. But the assassins eat through him in a matter of seconds. I do think this is a bit of a tuning issue.
