I mean, I didn’t think 188 was bad, lower was enough to clear normal Nathria week 1, but I guess layer 8 is only for Mythic geared raiders?

I could probably do higher than layer 4, but i got better things to do with my in-game time. Most soul ash comes from those layers, so its not that big of a deal to me.

They really need to come out tell us what the intent of this place is.
And if they really need to rethink things if they have a problems with us taking the place at our own pace using the EXISTING game mechanics to have CDs available for hard encounters.
These re-spawning nag nag nag mobs are worse than the diffculty. Two popping up on a cleared floor while I’m trying the read the anima powers that were offered. Ya, F-THIS, leave instance.

Soul ash for legendary items, and a mount that works in the Maw. I’m not sure it is for anything else.

Actually, it is within the LFR range. Castle Nathria LFR drops 187 loot for the first 8 bosses, 194 for the last 2 bosses.

The intent is to get Soul Ash once a week by doing the floor that you’re comfortable with. No one said to do the highest floor

I just clear level 2 or 3 and take the ash.
I don’t bother with the higher levels. I started level 4, started getting attacked by the “out of combat” muggers, so I left and reset at a lower level where they didn’t bother me.
Not doing content I dislike with mechanics I hate.

The issue with torgh is it doesn’t protect players from themselves, psychologically people are gonna want to complete all of torghast, they aren’t gonna want to have to be in mythic raider gear to complete the higher layers even if that’s how the game is intended to be.

I think we unlock it from the rescue xx NPC quest line. A couple more weeks maybe?
Have been tempted to do the same many times … can I atleast decide on the anima powers in peace especially as they make the difference between getting soul ash or zilch.
