If you fail a run, get more gear and come back, or just hope for better powers next time.
It’s not like Mage Tower where it was up a third of the time and cost a currency to enter.

It’s also not like Mage tower because there’s player power attached to it. Huge difference.
Would be fine if you didn’t spend over an hour sometimes on a run trying to get every single anima power you can only to get hit hard by either gear check or bad RNG on anima buffs. Mage tower was also pure cosmetic. You were not required to do it for story progression or legendary items.
Fun fact: Rogue-likes are mianly enjoyable because despite the fact that you could get unlucky and loose, winning and loosing have the exact same end result. Everything’s gone and you get to start over.
World of Warcraft is not a game where that works. Especially since it’s mandatory for progression.
That didn’t stop crowds of people from crying about how hard it was.
Mods, can we sticky this to GD please?
Mods, can we just ban Tupac?
Not about this post specifically. I’m just sick of his dumb face coming in to berate anyone who dares have any complaints about this game.
Never once berated anyone, but keep moving the goal post to make anyone that doesn’t agree with you a “troll” or any other ad hominem attacks you can throw.
You can get a 190/210 legendary off the Soul Ash from the first 3 layers, nobody is forcing us to scrape by for the tiny scraps of Soul Ash off the higher layers. Blizzard put most of the soul ash in the lower layers for a reason.
You could at the very least post on an alt so we don’t have to put up with exactly the same character being the one to attack everyone who disagrees with you.
Or everyone who you can reword to disagree with you.
Or everyone who you can just make up an argument for and claim they disagree with you.
do we need to have a never-ending sit down again
See, all of those are words, but they don’t communicate an idea when put in that order.
Doesn’t change the fact that it’s still an activity a lot of us don’t enjoy but still have to do weekly (and for a longer time if we only do lower layers) in comparison to MT that didn’t have any reason to do it besides cosmetics.
oh they definitely do. Prisoners and fools in this convo.
And how does you being unwilling to let someone else have the last word relate to Rogue-likes not translating well to a progression based MMO?
Because I’m not willing to let you have the last word on this topic.
Who’s forcing you to get max-rank legendaries as quickly as possible?
Look, if you like me that much you didn’t have to make a scene. I’m more than happy to spend time with you without having to derail another thread.
Torghast definitely works well as a rogue like, especially if you’re like me and spend most time not raiding or prepping for raiding in Torghast.
