Torghast takes a good little bit to complete. I’m trying to gather up the soul ash for quest.
Can you guys give me some tips? Perhaps take a look at my armory, it could be that I require a little more gear to complete faster? Or is it the hunter style of stop and pop that is taking me a bit too long?
Any help or tips appreciated! Thanks guys!
Posting on correct toon: for armory
dont go for the top floors, do a floor you know you can easy do. It’s why I did and I got my legendary in 2 weeks
If you really wanna push higher then try but most peoples gear and ilev is going to hinder them atm. Can always pug/guild run it if you want, bit that that its own problems
For how to solo. Slow pulls. Maybe 1-3 at a time. Try and get the power that let’s you shoot when the turtle power is on. Also the tar trap/flair combo is op (also get that for your legendary, hunters got stuffed with them). Also you dont need to kill everything. If you think you cam do it with the powers I got just aim for the next floor and dont bother with the side rooms/mobs
Torgust is ment to take time, xo dont worry if it takes you a hr or do to do

Thanks for tips and advice! I will stick to lower floors and grind hard on weekends!
don’t try and rush it…
settle for the ash from floors you can complete… wait for gear (lol)
Not a lot of info here, can’t really help.
My $0.02 as a tank - it is pretty straightforward to get up to layer 7 or 8, but at those levels, it’s a hard gear check and also a very serious RNG factor. At level 8 and an ilevel if 178, it takes me almost an hour to solo to the last boss, then the vendor there is the RNG - if you get smoke bombs, you can win, if you don’t just quit and try again.
Level 8 is tuned for at least 190 or up. At this point, I’m going to break from it for a few weeks until my gear is 190 ish. No, I’m not interested in teaming it, I treat it like mage tower as a solo challenge, but teaming is 100% the way to go for people who need it and don’t want to get smoked by RNG.
Yep, I have run into your 3rd scenario of needing a little extra oomph. I’ll stock up to avoid that scenario!
