How am i supposed to solo torghast as a healer now?

Fun detected…blizz strikes again…thought games were for fun and that torghast was group optional.

Blizzard has trashed what they touted as soloable content and turned it into content needing groups.

I lost the ability to cast shadow mend while running a Torghast instance with a rogue. The message said, “Not enough currency to cast this spell” - anyone else experience that and have any tips ? What did I do wrong? Shadow mend is sort of important - penance goes on cd and the boss starts hitting pretty hard.

It doesn’t help that Torghast is my least favorite part of this expansion.

Did they change something today for healers? Was super easy as a disc priest :o

Enemies have more HP for healers that go solo

More dmg in the case of tanks

This is so ironic. I thought at some point Blizz mentioned that Torghast is supposed to be soloable for all classes and specs, including tanks and healers.

This is apparently not true for some healers.

Yeah, I was just about to run it on my priest but honestly, Trash is easy but some of those bosses I kill when they get to around 9 stacks, More health is going to make this such a struggle, And I already try this on a mage who struggles so much >:

Blizzard sorta said screw it and backtracked on the “solo play if you want with the option to group”, and changed it to “solo play for some specs or forced group content”

I just did my 5s for the week… seems like they buffed mob health 40% or so if I had to guess.

It’s certainly a bit more arduous now, but I wouldn’t say it’s undoable. I’m sure I could push even higher but it wouldn’t give me enough ash to craft a third legendary anyway so…

I’m not even a healer and I’m livid that Blizzard has made yet another piece of content that’s awful to solo. Hell, I did it with a buddy last night and that was awful too, I guess it’s only good as 5-mans?

So much for “engaging, fun” solo content. What a joke.

I wouldn’t mind it but I have 4 60s I run it on >_> It’s just so freaking boring to run in general xD Had fun with it the first couple of times but meh now it’s just putting me to sleep

Want to buy loot rewards from it! Dx

You took the anima power that removes the mana cost and makes it instant cast but it now costs 5 phantasm. You ran out of phantasma which is why you couldn’t cast it

yeah it’s not worth it. I’m trying to do layer 8 on my resto druid now and the final boss has 420k health and has crit me for over 20k several times now which is nearly a one shot, and thats on 4-5 stacks lol.

There’s an anima power that makes your Shadow Mend cost Phantasma but be instant cast. So you took that anima power, ran out of Phantasma, and then couldn’t cast Shadow Mend anymore. I’d recommend not doing that.

And by the way, Layer 8 Torghast is 100% soloable as a healer. You just need to use the proper anima powers and reset early on if you don’t get anima powers that scale into the later levels.

I think they’re pushing people to be in parties now.

I’m sure to them it is… the option being if you wanted to win or not.
