I know it’s not popular, but if anyone wants to come back to Torghast for opting around or achievements will they be updating the orbs? A lot of the power affect things that will no longer be around like Legendaries or talents
There are no legendary buffing anima powers. You probably mean covenant and covenants are still active when in shadowlands zones. They’ll probably just turn off any orbs that say "you gain X talent or maybe change it to “gain 1 talent point” and let the player just pick something in the tree.

If I remember correctly when you are leveling new toons from 50 to 60 you can get sent there. If you are doing the story line you will be sent there for quests. As I remember, if you are doing Threads of Fate, after doing bonus and dailies for the four covenants until you reach 100% I think you get sent to Torghast on a quest.

Yep you’re right I meant covenants, and talents that may change. I didn’t know they were leaving covenant abilities active in shadowlands thoguh that’s cool
the legendaries they are going to kill the power of? usually they just kill the power for the next expansions content but leave it alone for the expansion it was intended for.
that is what they normally do including legendaries. the only time they totally destroyed the power was the corruptions power that was just not longer available in any content.
Legion leggos don’t work in any content anymore either.
How do you know this? And is there a blue post regarding this that I missed?
I was working at getting all my character legendaries for future use and I am glad I have been slow at doing this, if this is the case.
No I don’t know for sure, and people in beta are unclear. I’m just saying since leggos from legion are off but other leggos like Shadowmourne work it would be nice to have a clear post from Blizz.
I am in beta but I am only able to make template characters so can’t even test it. It appears they have different servers for different things so maybe other servers can character copy.

SL leggos don’t work past 65 and almost certainly won’t work even if back in SL content. That is a level restriction unlike the HOA and azerite pieces which broke immediatly because we weren’t on Azeroth anymore but still worked in Azeroth content.

You were able to character copy in beta?
Yes. I leveled this exact DK even. Tier gear works up to and including 70 but SL legendaries became nothing but a bundle of stats at 65 and the text says it requires being under 65 or something which means they’ll only work during timewalking since we do temporarily level down as far as the game is concerned.
You lose your covenant abilities and soulbind perks when leaving SL zones but get them back when going back. It’ll be wonky too even since all classes have access to some covenant abilities as talents now.

Can’t forget shards either, given those got destroyed in 9.2 due to it being a completely atrocious system.
I wonder how powerful you are at 64 in relation to SL content. Maybe worth freezing some characters at 64 just to farm SL stuff.
Doubtful because while your level goes up, your overall stat percentages are going down as it takes more per level to reach the same relative point. If anything, you’re weaker at 64 with no gear upgrades than 60.
As a spec that lives and dies by haste, I “felt” every level as I became more and more sluggish and even though I’m decently geared on the beta being nearly heroic dungeon geared (highest form of consistent content available), I’m still INCREDIBLY slow relative to retail.
They are switching back to no scaling so you would need to try it and how are you not getting gear upgrades - the crafted gear is over ilvl 300 - I didn’t check the dungeon but I would be surprised if it wasn’t that high.
Yeah you are 293 - but I would find it odd you can’t do SL content now.
