so after I got the torch turned in the quest and learned the toy it is not in my toybox and I can’t complete the following quests in the ruby enclave anyone else have this problem and yes I’ve checked the filters and search bar all clean

It said the same thing. Torch added to toy box but search wont find it.

I encountered the same and completely closing the game and then reopening fixed it for me. Good luck!

Am on my 3rd day of relogging and waiting if this toy ever shows up. Still not fixed for me. Can’t continue with the Preservationist Dispatch 2 quest.

I just tried this on a fresh alt & you cannot pick up Preservationist Dispatch quest one from the quest giver - he only gives the second quest. Slow claps so unless you keep up with this as a current thing, there’s no way to catch up?
Yeah, seems like you have to make sure to do everything in order on one character. 
after doing the first step and using all the levers the torch never appears near the fire place this happened to anyone else?

Same!! I am so stuck in a loop with this quest and can’t get any further. I have even been trying to get support to help me and they don’t seem to get that I can’t even go back to do the prior quest. They keep telling me to check wowhead or just go back and do the previous quest which I can’t get. I had the torch…it is now missing and I can’t get this part done now. I have relogged many, many times since the torch went missing and I have pretty much given up on ever finishing this quest line.
