Can I have your gold?
I hope this is your last post. Bunch of whinners.
Ok karen. This is a paid entertainment service, no different then Netflix. If you donât like it anymore cancel your subscription and move on. There I took your bait.
Oh wow I got a reply, no worries. Good luck wherever your going.
Iâll be here
Starting off a farewell with a confirmation bias statement does not make you look genuine, only bitter. I play WoW because I enjoy it. There are times I do not enjoy it, I donât play during those times.
Simple.
See you in Shadowlands!
Iâd say WoW improves my life because I have to have a hobby outside of work/social stuff to maintain my RL sanity, and WoW is a hell of a lot cheaper than many other hobbies such as Magic the Gathering, ice hockey and sports in general, games with microtransactions that I actually care about, and so on.
Itâs not as healthy as, say, sports or fitness related things, so I have to try to still work those in.
âDoes this actually improve my life?â
Lol⌠wake up call, no video games improve your life. Iâm sure no ones sitting around asking if Call of Duty is making their life better.
As you wrote this post, did you feel it improved your life, Botzones?
Itâs okay if you donât answer that. I, Donny Kawano, really just want your gold.
Your whole âârantââ amounts to said self questioning if theyâve spent their time wellâŚ
Itâs a video game. A form of entertainment. Iâve spent time watching movies⌠tv shows⌠going out⌠and WoW is no different.
Maybe you are just thinking too much into the whole situation and itâs caused you to have a little ââself-reflectionââ of your own habits, goals, time spent, etcâŚ
Which is fine, perfectly fine. But not sure what you are expecting from Blizz, WoW in generalâŚ
I dunno. I like raiding. I like the beach too but donât question whether the time could be better spent. I just enjoy jt. And I enjoy wow and also donât question if I could enjoy something more. Cause I like raiding.
Midway through Cata I said screw the carrot and twinked at 70. It was awesome not having to chase gear/systems from patch to patch. Play and build a character with a known progression path and if I got bored, level another character. I found infinite fun without the BS.
Fast forward a few years and they obliterated twinking(mainly that bracket) and then any twinking became about getting the level before the prior expansionâs cap and p2w by buying gear.
Since the latter, Iâm off and on with the subscription when before, I was subbed month after month after month. Theyâre milking the same dull carrot chasing treadmill that got old for some players years ago and destroyed all of the options to avoid it and still have fun.
With all of the talk of which games would kill WoW over the years and the irony that the game to actually do it is WoW itself.
The word Narcissist comes to mind. I mean
LOL. Do you actually think this is happening?
For you they may not, I have not had the same experience.
Life is Strange 1 & 2
The Longest Journey (series)
BioShock 1/2/Infinite
Ori and the Blind Forest
Republique
Never Alone
⌠and many many more. These games have all touched and taught me in profound ways that I am truly thankful to have experienced. No different than reading a novel, watching a movie, or listening to the radio.
At the end of the day, itâs just a video game. If I stop having fun, Iâll stop playing and go do something else.
Well said I believe what you wrote is 200% correct, and those defending I bet donât have a life outside in the real world. Or ruining the relationships/marriages/kids life they have by ignoring there needs. ( so many time people have to go afk cause they need to feed the baby or kids in the middle of raids bloody sad ) Yes I have played for years now as Iâm a retired mum raised my kids both have amazing jobs and donât really need me there to prop them up anymore. And the snarky ones saying there is the door, believe a lot of people have used the door and soon the world you love will be empty. Enjoy what time is left I say to those ones
Iâm 42 and my former self would be happy with the time devoted to this game because of the memories I made with it. But pissed that I didnât listen to my dad and learn to drive a stick shift.
And this is how I know to just not take this very seriously.

I like your plan.
You overly generalize the majority of the playerbase, and if anyone disagreesâŚthey are just wrong. And they need to check themselves.
The ego involved in this ârantâ is amazing.
Apparently people arenât supposed to like something that the OP dislikes. I sincerely wish you the best in whatever you go to, or end up doing. But acting like anyone still playing WoW is just in the wrong is hilariously bad.
I enjoy the raiding and m+. I get the complaints people have. And I am not saying they arenât justified. But I enjoy those aspects of WoW and they keep me playing. I am not being cheated or whatever.
It is only about cheap fun for me and I get that.
