- Put the camera above you during the phase to make it easier to see which one is real
- It’ll probably help but there are weakauras that disables your hud allowing you to focus more on the mechanic.
I don’t know if there’s anything that’d be adequate for you. There was a WA that was developed shortly after release that completely sidestepped the mechanic (it just showed you which one to click on) but Blizz directly broke that WA and I don’t know how the situation evolved beyond that.
Can’t really give you any useful advice without understanding the nature of the impairment, which is none of my business.
I understand, some attempts I guessed it right, others I’ve guessed wrong because I lost track of her. Definitely annoying lol.
I will say though, if you feel fatigue just take a break, this encounter compared to previous nemesis is definitely taxing on eye coordination.
Or even if it was possible to survive a mistake on literally anything in the encounter. It could be argued that’d defeat the point of the encounter’s design, but I personally think it’s a bit crazy that they made every mistake a one-shot unless you have a full immunity, given the reaction times required. Or maybe it even ignores those, I don’t actually know. ![]()
From my understanding not even full immunity works.
Hell even my Guardian Spirit didn’t give me a second chance on surviving the guessing game if I got it wrong lol. You have to perfectly execute every mechanic.
This is a hard one to give advice for. The slow way is to watch videos at slower speeds and progressively increasing the speed until you get better at it. Im curious about something, if you watch a video of it and pause it after 1 shuffle are you able to see where it goes? If so I feel like that suggests it’s a problem of concentration. Would following the path with your finger or mouse help?
In the end this was probably the hardest mechanic for me, or at least the one I had to focus the most on every time. Only thing I can think of is screen share on discord and have someone call it out for you
Unironically I found it easier to just kinda not try to follow her.
You can tell where she’s going from the way she winds up the animation and the first few frames of her travel, so I would just associate the animation with her next location and count up from 1 to 12.
I haven’t done this fight myself yet, but I’ve watched several videos of other players doing it and practiced trying to follow along with the clone (I really struggled with it, too). I eventually found one video that suggested focusing your eyes in the center and following it from your peripheral vision and I felt I was more successfully following it with that method. I am not sure if that helps with your limitations at all.
I would say that this particular fight seems the least accessible of the three, particularly for those with visual limitations. I normally have no problem doing the easy mode version in one or two attempts but had a hard time seeing the clones and kept failing. I plan to go back to attempt again when it’s not so bright in the room and with some visual tweaks I’ve seen suggested online, but am dreading the hardmode since it seems so unforgiving.
