Vanilla worked without it because there were literally 90 servers for a few million people.

Imagine if Blizz only wants 4 servers at launch for more people that actual vanilla had, how do you expect the servers to support that load??

The common solution is more servers but sho wants to rng pick a dead server?? I’d rather deal with layering for 2 to 3 weeks than be on a dead server.
