The new UI might be good for the twenty people who were still using the old ugly default one, but for everyone else this really messed everything up. Just hoping that enough people flood the forums with this issue that it will let us have the option to actually change it back regardless of what the few white knights say about it. It’s obviously not a universally liked change and could use more work.

I like the new UI.
Way better than the old one.
Not sure how that makes me a white knight, but if it does I am going to need a magnificent steed.
One with flames painted on the side.
And cup holders.

I wish we had stat’s on this. I’m pretty sure more people are good with it than are not.
The Night Fae mount comes with cup holders, but you need to have it seal right because it holds the cup sideways.

I’m going to try default UI on a few alts but have mostly reconstructed my old interface.
Bartender4 for all your UI needs it has not one, not two but three yes three Classic presets for your classic OG UI feel even the gryphons are OG so head down to Curseforge and check out the newest Bartender4 you will be happy you did.

Bartender4 works great. I hear that ElvUI also works. Don’t blame Blizz if your preferred addon doesn’t work, blame the addon author.

I’m mostly just miffed that it borked a buttload of other addons. Recount isn’t even useable and it would be cool to go back to a system that actually worked while the new one is getting fixed.
No, it wasnt good for us 20 either. Should have been opt in or opt out with one checked box imo. Could have been a win/win.

I didn’t realize anyone still used Recount. Details is up and running if you want an alternative while the Recount team updates their addon.

Yeah cool the answer is to just download a bunch of new addons instead of just having a system that does the bare minimum: work.

I’m still not sure why you are blaming Blizz for the addon creators not updating your preferred addons. This is the weirdest complaint I have seen.

I’ve been using the default/“stock” UI with 0 issues or problems for as long as I can remember, and I think the new UI is awful 
It’s actually the opposite - seems “stock” UI users mostly have a negative opinion of the new UI, while it’s mainly folks that always dabbled in “fancy” UI addons who seem to like it

I dont think your a white knight, I do think you could have been a member of Team opt in. Im genuinely happy for you and the changes you like. You deserve what pleases you. I just wish I could have been a member of Team opt out and been equally as happy with my choice. Continue enjoying the change and i hope you enjoy DF content too
