I’m returning to retail WoW after around a 5 ½ year break, as I did play Classic on launch until BWL. I was consistently top 3 world at the end of SoO in MoP for Frost DK and the #138 ranked DPS player for all classes in US/EU combined at that time. This was without my guild ever gaming fights like Immersius/Nazgrim for me to rank either. The break hasn’t really impacted me as far as I can tell other than needing to look up class reworks, etc. Muscle memory and speed is still there, as is my UI. I quit a little after Hellfire Citadel came out in WoD. This was due to moving for a work/life as well as finding the state of the game in that expansion to be so poor that I wasn’t having fun, so that made the decision easy. I decided to level up all my alts and main before Shadowlands in case I got into WoW again and after playing the expansion since launch I’ve found I’m enjoying a lot. This means the next step is now finding a fun guild to do content with, so here I am writing this post.
I’m looking for a guild that will clear all Mythic content, but isn’t doing crazy hardcore time commitments like Limit, etc, as I don’t have the time to dedicate to that during progression. I’d prefer Alliance, but given that almost every progression guild has rolled Horde for the recruiting pool there, I am open with faction changing to Horde as well. I can confidently play every class except Mage/Druid, since those are the two classes I don’t have 50 or above, however I want to stick with a DPS DK as my main and am very much looking for a core spot in that role.
Looking For
- Raid Times: After 5PM Pacific / 8PM Eastern
- Raid Amount: 2-4 days a week
- Raid Days: Anything but Fri/Sat
- Loot: Prefer loot council over DKP (I understand Master Looter is gone now lol?)
- Attitude: Fun, chill, dark humored, and thick-skinned
- Bonus: If your guild has rated BG PvP players that’s a plus. Same with allowing alts on farm.

As mentioned, in terms of combined parses, I was the #138 ranked DPS player in US/EU at the end of SoO in MoP. Please note this is Heroic 25m as Mythic 20m was added for a few weeks at the end of the expansion and I left my guild of 4+ years right before it dropped.

As one of the top 3 parsing Frost DKs throughout SoO I obtained #1 on most of the fights at some point, finishing with a #1 on Garrosh, which stands to this day. As such, I had a 99% perf average on fights across 466 kills.

I’m not a one spec only DK and performed at a high level as Unholy on Blackrock since Frost was quite bad that tier.

Had a 97% perf average. This was in a guild on their casual B team where I was playing with a few friends before I quit.
Outside of this I was also one of the top parsing DKs in the world during Tier 14 (I skipped T15 for personal reasons) as well as during Cataclysm. Especially during, Firelands, with #1s all over the place, including Patchwerk fights like Baleroc.

Unfortunately, Raidbots’ epeenbot was shut down and I was not able to screengrab my earlier history there and WoL deleted past logs unless you paid, and our guild didn’t do that.
For some additional personal achievements that show my dedication towards all aspects of the game, I was realm first to level 90 and obtained full gold in challenge modes for both MoP and WoD. Challenge modes were done as Blood, so I know how to tank as well and did so once and a while during farm in raids.

In PvP I obtained Grand Marshal and Hero of the Alliance twice (Seasons 9 and 10) for Ranked BGs. Was never big into Arena except during TBC but obtained Rival for the cool PvP armor set in Warlords Season 1. I also obtained OG Rank 14/Grand Marshal on my Rogue in Vanilla.
For some additional history, I played Vanilla through TBC as a rogue. After getting Rank 14, I focused on raiding and led a guild in TBC until we had to merge with another one due to losing 4 healers in Sunwell due to a variety of unrelated reasons within a two-week window. Killed M’uru pre-nerf and Kil’Jaeden was killed top 40 US. I was one of the top parsing rogues in the world without Blades of Azzinoth. Ran BT in two guilds every week for a year and never saw it drop once LOL. One of those was a guild I founded, led, and recruited from the ground up. I skipped all WotLK to focus on school before coming back at the start of Cata as a DK. Funny story behind why I ended up a DK and not a rogue.
Note that if I bump the thread after you post, it’s because I am trying to see as many options as possible. I’m also looking around on WoWProgress. I also recognize that this is not an ideal timing to find a core spot with raiding about to start, but I didn’t want to join a guild before Shadowlands without knowing if I’d like the game. Don’t hesitate to post though if you think I’m a fit. I’ll read everything.
