Top Pvp class in TBC

Shadowplay with an RDruid is S+ in TBC. Aff + Shadow synergy + druid slipperiness and mana longevity means they can comfortably play the long game with minimal danger.

Yeah so is RLD.

Lol everything you’ve said so far is what noobs say. The healers are close in 3’s except hpals are probably lower. Also shadowplay with a rdruid is inferior to the shaman variant…

Hunter where really bad in TBC PvP. They were just too easy to train. Sure 1vs1 they where the bane of mage, but all I remember about them is they were easy kill and asking for PvP buffs litteraly for years.

They were useless in 3s.

Good luck dealing with split damage as a Shaman and not going oom in 30 seconds. Rotcomps - ironically RDruid Shadowplay - will simply be too much for the Shaman to keep up with, nevermind the fact that he has to turret out the heals, making him a sitting duck for Mana Burn/Drain Mana.

People seem to have forgotten how powerful Mana Burn/Drain Mana/Viper Sting were in TBC. I didn’t forget. Expect to see Shadowplay and Cupid a lot more than you ‘remember’. Yes, Cupid.

Openworld PvP 1v1s (not dueling)
In my opinion, assuming player skill is equal these are the specs I think are the strongest in OpenWorld 1v1 situations.

  1. Warglaive Rogue – Super strong spec that can generally go toe to toe w/ most Specs and come out on top.

  2. SL/SL Lock – Very tanky, with Healthstone, Soulstone, and/or engi/consumables they are a monster to take down in open-world 1v1s.

  3. Druid - They have Several powerful specs for 1v1s i.e. 37/11/14 or Restokin or even Balance/Resto w/ NS. Spec is strong due to Strong DoTs, Cyclone, Roots, Stun, Disorient, HoTs, and great mobility. You can pretty much avoid any fight you want and get away from any class as well.

  4. Hunter – Have a few very good 1v1 open-world specs such as 0/27/34 or other variants which gives them a lot of instant CC with Scatter, Trap, or Wyvern Sting. They are great against most casters and strong against many melee specs and can generally fight toe to toe in open-world w/ TBC Rogues.

Imho

Lol the only “rotcomp” in tbc is shadowplay. I played shadowplay to a high rating on endless both the shaman and druid variant. It’s the shaman one that is s tier.

Honestly, skill matters most. With practice, I became decent at PvP. I knew my class well, and had reasonable gear. However, I could always tell if someone was better than me. Sure, some classes were tougher than others, but it’s the player that really matters.

Rogue Mage Priest for 3s
Druid Warrior 2s
SL/SL Warlock 1v1, if they no how to bait SP to use up their Mana, but more than often a good SP will crap on them.

Do you remember the TBC Shadow Priest Bro?

Straight up you can get Glad on any class in TBC, just that your class dictates your comp.

As for class dominance, well it’s actually kinda hard to say right now because there are a few comps that hadn’t been considered as strong as they actually turned out to be and only discovered to be so good towards the end of the expansion.

With that said, it’s going to come down the the skill level of the opponents in general, if the skill level on average is lower than originally, then that means more Zugzug comps that involve warriors will be more dominant than before, but if the skill level is high then comps like god comp and drain comps will be more dominant than before. The reasons for this are many, but overall it’s dependent on the player base skill level on average.

If classic PvP is anything to go by, then the average skill level is lower in terms of PvP skill that original Vanilla meaning that warriors will be even more represented in 3’s than before simply because it’s an easy class to play at a decent level. This takes nothing away from the skill cap of the warrior class, but only points out the skill floor is forgiving and effective for new and unskilled players to do very well with.

Hope that makes sense, and good day!

Sub Rogues, RDruids, and SL/SL Warlocks

And they make a mean 3v3 comp when grouped together.

Honorable mention to DPriests, which are also god-tier in tbc.

I feel like no one read the post other than the title. He is asking for Dueling and open world pvp classes.

I would say Rogue, Mage, Shadow Priest, Warlock, Hunter, Druid, Ele Shaman.
