So i was doing one of the ICC heroic dungeons on my rogue, my rogue is like 5.3k, there was another rogue like 4k went afk so we wiped on the boss in halls and no one kicked him, so i was on my way back to the dungeon and i get kicked lmao, i was doing the most dps and all kicks lmao, i swear im not sure about the people who play wow

I understand that people want to vent over these situations but nothing new here to be surprised . 2009 was not any different than 2023

I was doing a run with a guildie and we were in voice. And I started kick on him as a prank. Dude was 6k Fmage doing like 15k avg dps. HE GOT KICKED LMAO
I was healing and doing same damage as other 2 DPS. So I left too. Told them they are idiots and need to open their eyes.
Prob meant to kick other rogue and ur name was at the top and others just said yes.

It is actually alot different than 2008-09 , how can you say its the same the when the generation is different , its not even the same people that are playing the game , theres a few OGs like my self but not so many
there are no teenagers playing the game mate . don’t kid yourself . we are all the same people from 2009 , only 40 yo now and dads . also if you didn’t know , no one cares if you were kicked and what is your gear score, wait for 30 min and move on

Yea i dont know, i see alot of toons , actually i see alot of toons with farts in their names, i mean, i mean like alot, or people simping out over girls in guild… no mid age dad would be doing thats stuff
I wish I could say that is true but sadly not in my experience. Most “grown adults” still act like that. If you don’t believe me visit any reddit, Facebook, or other major media platform and just look at all the 30-50 year olds and how they act and get back to me.

9 isn’t prime. 23 is prime. That’s A LOT different.
I think the point was that the system is such that people will get removed from groups and sometimes be left wondering what happened or why they were removed and that that is consistent both now and with how the system worked when it was introduced.
This. There was a post recently on the forum, though I forget which topic, that put it perfectly.

Theres 3 reasons people play wrath, 1. they cant afford retail. 2. retail is too hard for them, 3. farming tokens on wrath
Its probably point 1. Retail is much more expensive than classic subcription.
Its def is, and now with the new expacks people gonna pay $90 every year
And i dont see how anyone pays a classic sub since gold is given to you anyway, iv made so much gold in classic that i got a 2 year sub in like 5 months
for a boost?
All I see here is someone who didn’t play original Wrath. No one cared about gearscore. Kicks almost never happened. People just burned through braindead easy Heroics.
