Top dps classes to level and gear up faster and easier

I would like to read your opinion about what are the dps classes that are easier to level and gear up through end content. It can be open world, pve or pvp.

What would be yout rank from the easiest to hardest? Supposing that the player will never play healing or tanking no matter if the class is hybrid.

From my personal experience, here is my rank from easiest to hardest:

  1. Druid (mobility and great aoe)
  2. Hunter (mobility and pet)
  3. Warrior (Tanky and easy)
  4. Demon hunter (Mobility but quite squishy)
  5. Warlock (Tanky, pets, great control but lack of mobility)
  6. Paladin (Tanky and easy but lack of mobility)
  7. Rogue (Good mobility but very squishy. I had to vanish many times to save my butt)
  8. Mage (Squishy, slow and you spend alot of your time kiting mobs)
  9. Shadow Priest (Same as mage but with less mobility)

I have no experience with shaman, dk and monks

Leveling is so fast that the difference between classes are largely minimal, especially when every class has tons of recovery that means almost zero downtime.

The best classes for gearing through endgame, either PvE or PvP are the strongest classes because they have the easiest time finding groups.

Currently (for PvE) that’s Druids or Mages at the top of the totem pole with both classes being very desirable for M+ and Raids. At the bottom of the totem pole is probably Spriests since they don’t really bring much to the table, especially in M+.

Hello! I would like to put in my cute little vote for Havoc Demon Hunter, which is a very effective AoE killer while leveling but is not a tank. Additionally, you can level as a tank in dungeons for quick queues :smiley:
