I don’t have a lot of knowledge when it comes to desks for Desktop gaming. I dont need desks with LED lights and stuff like that. What would you suggest?
I didn’t even know there was such a thing. I would normally get whatever will work for my specific setup. I’d guess a gaming one would include colored trim, a place for a drink, and a hook to hang your headset.
What could be recommended would depend on the kind of room you have, whether you want a corner “L” desk or the usual design, extra shelving, a extra long one for multi-monitor setups, etc.
Just a standard desk. I have one that had book shelves above like for a office. However, just one that is standard height and can hold your monitor on top or in a cabinet will work also depends on monitor size.
i got this from amazon:
It’s_Organized Computer Desk,60 X 27 inches Study Writing Desk,Large PC Laptop Table Workstation for Home Office,Widen Space Gaming Desk Multi-Functional,Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088R99VXD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_87JYBV16GADRR911MMFD
had to assemble myself but solid so far
They’re a bit more pricey but I’m partial to standing desks, because even though I don’t put it into standing position very often, being able to adjust your desk’s height in addition to your chair’s is really nice and makes it easier to set things up for optimum comfort/ergonomics. Also, the legs on those desks are usually high quality steel and will last many years – if the top eventually gets super scuffed and ugly, just replace it with a piece countertop from IKEA or your local hardware store and you’re good for another many years.
My old desk was a little too small for my tastes and I plan to eventually add a third monitor and I needed a desk I could attach an arm to so I bought this one about a week ago:

Comes with a few plugs on the back, a couple of wire wraps for cable management, and had MUCH more extra space in the cubbies AND on the desktop (my old one was very small by comparison).
I have a SecretLab gaming desk. This thing is sturdy can easily fit two-three monitors along with a desktop on it. It wasn’t cheap but I like mine so far. I plan on buying my wife one later for her setup.
