In your opinion, what are your top 5 specs with the best visuals and animations in the game ?

This is my personal ranking:

  1. Balance druid
  2. Arcane mage
  3. Destro warlock
  4. Elemental shaman
  5. Shadow priest

Shadow priest, frost mage and destro lock

For me top 1 is Destro Lock.

The rest is just the rest.

Nothing beats the absolute beauty of a Chaos Bolt traveling from the hands of a Warlock to the face of a Demon Hunter.

I don’t know about top five, but:

Prot Warrior is probably my favorite. Charging in with the shoulder check and then bashing the enemy in the face (or shins, as is often the case) with your shield is always satisfying.

They did a good job making Resto and Elemental shaman feel like they’re literally pulling their power from the ground.

Frost DK’s new Obliterate animation in SL is amazing…it’s just too bad the button itself feels terrible to push.

I love crash lightning, and chain lightning, and lightning bolt.

Spell animations also depend on race.

Shadow Priest animations look like they hit ten times harder than they actually hit for.

Idk seeing the entire screen filled with imp fire bolts from like 30+ imps should probably be #1 on this list for obvious reasons.

Destruction warlock. It looks so badass and destructive

Because everything is cast by the FAT FLUFFIEST CHICKEN OF HUGGY DOOM.

Don’t forget hunter, where 90% of the “effects” are white lines or dots.

The spells I find the most appealing may have been removed at this point but I’m still going to give them a mention

Frost fire bolt was one of the coolest looking spells in game; I also like the look of mages abilities in general - I think what made me start playing was a video of rag getting tagged by a bunch of frost bolts

A lot of the warlock spells have always been iconic looking

I like outlaws sinister strike currently too, looks good when you get back to back double hits

Some of the enh shammy abilities look pretty good too

Last but not least one of the best looking abilities I’ve seen in recent times is the up coming condemn ability for warrior; that ability looks TIGHT
