It isn’t. If you look at comments under patch notes, a blue comments about it saying it’s an in game currency not gold nor real miney.

Given that we are looking at longer this time around, and the fact that flight would make things a lot easier and more bearable for people, I am safe in saying that Pathfinder 1 should have granted flight in KT and Zandalar now.
8.2 is a minimum of seven months away…and very little reason remains to keep us grounded that long. You may disagree with me…but to many it happens to be a legitimate question as to why flight is gated this far ahead.

My 3 complaints for this patch are, the disc and shadow priests still getting screwed, THE MAINTENACE TIME, and no flight.
With flight master whistles, spud (and other vehicles), shortened hearthstones, and a nice placement of flight masters, not flying is not an issue for me. I understand that doesn’t satisfy everyone - but personally I’m ok with not flying and the pathfinder unlock for all my toons (I had 24 110’s at the end of Legion plus I’m leveling 6 (soon to be 8) allied races) once they hit the bfa zones (108 minimum) after pathfinder is released (whether they are max level or not) for no cost.
That being said, flight unlocked in April last time around (with a similar launch date - early September in Legion vs. mid August for BfA) and I’d be disappointed if it didn’t open around the same time. My guess is 8.2 will hit around March / April and we’ll be flying shortly thereafter.

I hope you are right…but from what I see here, it looks more like August.
Nice placement of fp’s? No. Half of them are on the edges and not in the centre…and fps have one major failing…you cant get off wherever you want…that and if you pass a fp you dont have…sorry you are stuck till whatever one is available or is one you have “discovered:”
Ive lost count of the number of anchor weed nodes I cant get because Im on an fp.

The terrain is atrocious.
Legions pathfinder was also on time gated content, which did not go down well.

Doesn’t matter what we think. The only bone they tossed us is the open all flight paths in xpac book we can send to our alts.
That’s pretty much a “no” from them , I think.

I really hope I don’t have any but I suspect they will have up the tediousness of the mobs again tomorrow and other than my arcane mage, things take forever to die already.

The mythic gear is from a currency you get in your weekly chest, along with a (small) amount when you scrap new azerite pieces. Think of it as the legendary essence stuff that let you buy legendaries.
I have to say shadow priest changes. I don’t main one even though I did get 110 mainly by healing but when I looked at the spriest changes I was just scratching my head in confusion the changes don’t appear to solve much

To get the specific azerite piece you want will take a month and a half aka 6 weeks. That sounds like more than a few to me =/
