Likes are superfluous and accomplish nothing. I never understood why they had a cap. It serves…no purpose.
I’m curious who sat there and went “Yanno, maybe having a cap on likes is a great idea!”. Maybe that person thought we gave out likes like candy and to think about it? Which…is kind of dumb train of thought.
Especially given the flip sides of that. Most of us probably never come close, I barely ever like things TBH. And if you were the serial liker, how do you know when you’re going to run out until you do? And if you could know, how would you know when to hold onto them anyways? This post is pretty good…buuuuuut what if the next post is GREAT. I have one like left what do I do?!
It’s just a dumb mechanic all around.
