Too much PVE is required to even enter begin PVP and nothing is being done about it

The existence of resil did not mean gear was seperate. BC was influenced by pve items like stormherald, dragonmaw, trinkets like DST and the mixing of pve/ pvp set bonuses.

WoD had good raids and good pvp. I personally enjoyed my spriest much more then. But the overall game was awful.

The game has always been somewhat like that, but mostly you pvped for pvp gear, pve’d for pve gear.

People should only have to do what they want to be the best geared for the content they want to do.

I shouldn’t need to do M+ to raid.

You are saying this while posting on a classic toon where people do both.

Yes. But there should still be crossover. This is world of warcraft. It makes zero sense that a gladiator should go out into the world, and be unable to clear a 5 key.

Or that the heroes of azeroth, that just killed nzoth, get dumpstered by deathlord69 in his yolo bg blue pvp set, because all of their gear is disabled.

Mainly because a lack of raids and a lack of enforcement by blizzard.

Class design was better than legion and now, and pvp had almost every spec represented in high rating. Gear was also easy to achieve for pvpers so it wasn’t a feeling of being useless for a week in bgs.

WOD raids were the only ones I actually enjoyed doing, besides fire lands and wotlk.

I’m not saying gear should be useless outside it’s content.

Think of wod pvp gear, higher ilvl in pvp, lower in pve.

Right now it’s not crossover, look at the arena rankings, most are wearing 90% pve gear.

No it didn’t.

Yes, which is how we got the botting and cheating. This is an MMO. If you want gear, aspire and conquer to it.

Vanilla is a horrible version of the game and not something that people should base anything off of lol

Then the game should be dead. But people do both pve and pvp.

It basically is dead outside from a couple of realms with super high populations. And pvp is a joke on it because get this… pve gear wins every time, kind of like now.

That is your opinion. And one I share. The reality is that there are millions of players that want that version. Same for BC, same for Wrath, etc.

This game has never been perfect. Never will be. Not everyone will always be happy.

Why? Why should a gladiator’s gear be reduced in pve?

That is the issue. PvP gear needs to be better, come faster, and have more options. Not seperated.

Lol okay dude.

So true. I used to love just questing and random pvp for gearing. Maybe with the vendor in the next expansion things will change?

Because that’s not the content it’s made for. You should have to put work into the content you want to do to progress in the content.

And having some separation prevents burnout for those who only do one type of content.

What are you denying? That classic is pretty dead? Because go to any realm that isn’t one of the “full ones” and you’ll see no one there basically.

Or that pve gear wins in pvp? Because that’s common freaking knowledge.

At your knowledge at everything.

It’s facts, you going to argue facts, mr. “still can’t back up my statement”

Sure dude cuz you cant google. Im not linking these old threads. And you literally never know what you are talking about. Your ideas are always so bad.

I’d like to see templates like we have in Guild Wars 2. Select your gear type, select the gear’s set bonuses, jump in.

Then there’s the open world for all the unbalanced gear.

You made the statement, you prove it, that’s how this works. It’s not on me to google, because I already know the answer, I was there.
