The current environment and entire environment of BFA and legion too really is that the hardcore players will do whatever it takes to get the insane gear and thus also dominate in pvp and the casual players that enjoyed past expansions where PVE wasnt even required are just being driven to quit.
I personally gave PVE a serious shot with Mythic + in legion and world quests. While I tired of them i feel as though world quest rewards in any of the original Legion zones were better than world quest rewards are in today’s BFA original zones and this was great for the player.
I have not actively raided Current content pve since WOTLK days. I just don’t enjoy it I enjoy pvp the most but my style of play of grinding a set of pvp honor gear and then hitting arenas has been basically deleted from the game. I and many others would like to see this reverted.

To be fair, pvp is pretty busted right now anyway with corruptions, if I happen to pop off obsidian during my burst phase, you’re going to get chunked.
Destro Warlocks with massive haste are also massively OP it’s honestly way easier to just gear in PVE then try pvp after otherwise you’ll get dumpstered.

Or blizzard can just do what they’ve done in the past and ballance a set if conquest gear making everyone happy? Also if you have any suggestions for a tab target MMO with the fluidity of wow combat I’m all ears.

PvP in this game needs templates like in FF14. Right now if you’re not at least 460 ilvl with good corruption, you can either find yourself being 1 shot or be whaling on an enemy for 20sec before you see their hp bar move at all.

PVP’ers are irrelevant. 99% of the game’s income comes from PVE’ers,
so why care about the fringe? you pvp’ers should go play a diff game

Orc Island was my favorite expansion for this reason. I logged on and only played PvP. It was fun ganking is Ashran all day and still getting gear.

They had templates before… People hated it.

Honestly, at least for nonrated battlegrounds, they should probably have gear brackets. Every time I go into a BG and see someone with 76k HP I die a little inside, because I know they’re going to die a lot on the outside. Maybe, if we’re lucky, they’ll be able to get off a kick or some CC before being pasted.

Because they couldn’t pick their stats, they were forced to take whatever blizz gave them, which is a valid complaint.

the opposite reason why people hate the PVE requirement.

I don’t understand. Of course blizz is gonna force adjust your stats. That’s the whole point of an even playing field template that gives everyone a fighting chance doesn’t it?
Because that removes any progression from it, it is still an RPG after all. Sure ilvl increased your stats, but if you’re not getting the right stats it’s not as fun.
If your class plays better with haste and blizzard gives you vers, its not great.

Well if blizz is giving you the wrong template stats for your class, that sounds like Dev issue lol.
