I saw this just posted in another thread that I didn’t touch and I figured I’d share since you seem to believe I’m the only one with the opinions I have on arenas in WoW. Although I have no doubt you’ll be too lazy to even read it:

The mini-game of Arena which most PvP players don’t care about should of never been a focus. Activision had this Esport vision that actually killed PvP via Arena. Why is PvP dead? Too much focus on Arena which doesn’t work for the Genre of game.

If you removed Arena from WoW most PvP players wouldn’t care. We actually might be excited because then maybe they would work on the PvP that matters. Class design in this game is for large scale objective battles and PvP should be too.

Real shame Arena killed WoW but greed did that.
