I just tired of this. Horde had everything. 3 horde cities became raid (Ogrimmar, Suramar and Dazar’lor) and now one became main expansion hub (Silvermoon), not to mention Undermine (goblins) and WoD with orcs everywere… And still you all dares to complain about lack of spotlight…

I don’t think this is true especially considering Theramore effectively does the exact same thing. It was establishing itself in a new land, building a new home for itself and dealing with the fall out from both Arthas and the Legion.

Except there was no, ‘Founding of Theramore,’ campaign or anything. It was there as if it had popped into existence by magic, so that Daelin could have a base to harass the Horde from.

I also don’t think it was. I mean, the moment I saw Stormwind and saw 5 statues I knew exactly who they would be. Like, Warcraft was always built on its roots and part of the reason Warcraft 3 sold so well was because Warcraft 2 was popular.

Everyone knew who Alleria and Turaylon was hence why we keep asking where they were all these years!

Turalyon and Alleria, Danath, Kudran, and Khadgar were all characters from the old Alliance, however; the Alliance of Lordaeron. No one knew what this new Alliance was, because Blizzard never developed or built up the new Alliance in WC3. Heck, the TFT Alliance campaign was the Blood Elf campaign, and we know where that went.

And any of that heroism being overshadowed by the burning of Teldrassil makes my blood boil. The Horde literally saved the Vulpera people in BfA but you can’t really put that as heroism when the start of the Fourth War was an act of utter evil so out of character it’s laughable.

Agreed. The Burning of Teldrassil is objectively an out of character moment for everyone involved.

Don’t care, he wasn’t a thing at the time of its writing. There is/was absolutely no indication that Sylvanas ever would have ordered the Burning to occur, there is no indication Saurfang would ever buy what she was selling especially as he threatened to kill Garrosh for taking the Horde down a dark path, there is no reason for the Alliance to fall for her feint, there is no reason that Sylvanas or Saurfang should have even been able to stand up against either Night Elf leader…

Its just bad, for everyone involved. Its actually ironic you bring up the Vulpera, because the Vulpera storyline (and the Unshackled in Nazjatar), are unironically the closest to the original Horde thematic we’ve seen. (slaves rising up against their oppressors in order to either die free or ideally establish/secure a new home.)

He definitely doesn’t hate Malfurion anymore, they reconciled (albeit indirectly) at the end of Legion, where both clearly don’t show hatred for one another.

Horde players are “tagging along” in the context of an expansion is upcoming where Alliance don’t even get to access all of the hub city immediately on the heels of an expansion with entirely neutral factions 2 alliance characters and the entirety of the Goblins. Why would you need access to the right side of the city? They should have given you your own hub. This is more of the consolidation thing that is a problem and has nothing to do with story. The story they teased for that expac focuses on Alleria and her brood anyway.

Did it need it? Like it would be implied it was founded the same way Ogrimmar was, that the survivors need a new home and Theramore was it, again another fun fact the devs were thinking of making Theramore the human starter area back in the day before ultimately deciding on Stormwind.

Because the “new” Alliance was same as the old one. It was an Alliance to defend each other against external threats that had a tolkien base. Which arguably means it didn’t need to be explained to the masses.

The “new” Alliance is best compared to Dunkin. It changed its name(it dropped the Donut part), it lost some branches and opened new ones but at the end of the day you don’t need to explain to anyone what the new company is.

The Bilgewater Cartel is explicitly the goblins that joined the Horde and were the major driving force behind the events of undermine with all the other goblin cartels being strung along for flavor. Do YOU pay attention to the story?

Bel’ameth we are limited in, not that there is much there. It’s not even a city, but we can’t go to the docs near the portals without being attacked and we are watched there. Gilneas is not a city. We can go anywhere but it has no amenities. Neither of them do. And we didn’t want to be there. Still don’t want to be there.

Read the quest text. Gazlowe is the only Horde rep down there. Renzik is Alliance. The Bilgewater down there are not in any faction but on their own council. Alleria and Matthias Shaw show up.
