Too much alliance focus going into midnights?

In the cinematic, the alliance came to save the day instead of the horde.

Turalyon, Alleria, and Arator will be important.

Even your delve companion will be an alliance character. Was there really no horde alternative? That’s two alliance characters in a row.

Haven’t heard much about liadrin or lorthemar. Though given thrall being featured in a cinematic and then never showing up again, is that what’s gonna happen here again?

Maybe I’m just being silly.

The Alliance vs Horde faction war is over. It has been replaced by the Kickers vs Kicked faction war and the Borrowed Power vs Button Bloat faction war. The pro and con Shadowlands war rages as well.

Blizz needs a Horde writing team. They don’t seem to know what to do with the Horde currently.

Story focus doesn’t really have to do with that. And it was replaced with primarily Alliance story. It’s not very neutral. Just one-sided.

This.

And the Alliance writing team needs to be HANDS-OFF of the Horde.

People love to say valeera sanguinar is not an alliance character despite the fact that she was besties with varian and swore loyalty to his family.

Basically the only thing we heard about Liadrin is that she’s going to be a wee bit prejudiced towards the Amani. Awesome!

Wait, the delve character is Valeera?

Just wanted to mention that many Alliance players think the story sucks too. Its not like we take pride in having this garbage writing being focused on our team.

Even in a cinematic where you cannot tell if it truly was the Alliance or not helping the blood elves can people still claim “Alliance favoratism”. Honestly.

Personally, I’d love more Horde focused stories but my gut tells me this all just comes down to money. More Horde representation in an xpac means hiring Horde writers and doubling the team that develops questlines so the Horde can blood and thunder their own path to the end of the xpac. The bean counters figured it was easier to have both factions follow the same questline in the end.

Horde players have been at the beck and call of Alliance NPC’s for 20 years.

Alliance players had to turn in ONE quest to Vol’jin during Mists of Pandaria, and had a Chernobyl-size meltdown over it.

Fine. Delete the Alliance.

Fine by me. I’d rather be a neutral mercenary anyways.

I’m sure a few did. But most just click the yellow quest marker and accept/complete without giving a rip because we aren’t wierdos.

Made me wonder what horde character could be cool as a delve friend.

Only one I can think of without being a joke would be Faranell from the desolate council maybe.

Or Kiro?

Since the reveal there have been Horde players unironically saying Alliance even being allowed to play the xpac is “Alliance Bias” from Blizzard. Horde posters are simply unreasonably out of touch with the reality of the last 20 years of WoW.

The way they melted down over TWW opening patch having a few alliance characters in it has made it apparent that isn’t going to change anytime soon.

There was also something about a robot cat.

I never understood it, but it’s like Blizzard was committing high treason against the multiverse, to hear Alliance players complaining on the forums, back then.

I always thought Gazlowe would’ve been cool to have tag along.

He would but he had a lot of screen time recently.

Yeah that’s why thought he’d be the 11.1 delve companion until Blizzard decided it was one per xpac.

Meh your not, its been an alliance story since BFA ended. It is what it is, horde will eventually be in the spotlight again.

I play both factions so im good regardless.
