My one real criticism of BFA is that there are simply too many quests that lead you off in different directions right now. This makes it harder to do the quests that advance the story and harder to do the essential quests that unlock end game content.
Right now, even at 120, my quest log is full and I was even ignoring many random exclamation marks on the map. Even though I made a good effort to complete the quests as I found them, I think there are just an inordinate number of bread crumb quests, which litter the map with question marks in every different direction.
This also makes the zones feel like they last too long and detracts from the sense of completion that you should have when you are done with a zone. My OCD side does not like seeing a screen littered with yellow question marks.
Maybe in the future, we can have story quests coded as one color and side quests coded as another color, so that we can know which ones are important. But also I think that bread crumb quests are out of control in BFA and should be cut back. If one hub has breadcrumbs for 3 new areas, then that is 2 too many and it should be cut back. Because then that new area sends you to 3 new areas and it multiplies until your quest log is completely full of bread crumb quests.
Just a thought. Am I wrong about this?
Too many quests? In a role-playing game? WoW is not Call of Duty...
im loving all the extra quest myself. the ones I find on my own off the beaten path have been some of the best so far. plus in Legion manycomplained they couldn't get 110 without running instances. how I dont know bit they did.
Just need self control... Follow a quest until it doesn't progress, then go back and do another.
I like the questing. Yes, sometimes I get focused on one questline and experience a moment of irritation when I see that yellow exclamation point along my path, because I know it's going to lead me off in another direction...
Which is fine. I can go do that, and get back to my previous goal. Which is fine: the quest and its marker on my minimap will still be there when I'm ready. In the meantime, I go get some more lore, some more XP, and more importantly, more exploration of a zone, which makes it easier for me to complete Pathfinder Part One so I can stay on the bleeding edge of getting flight once they release it (whenever that is).

I would say too many throwaway garbage quests.
Quantity over quality is the problem.

I actually find the quests to follow a nice linear method, I don’t need to run around the map because at some point I will end up at every quest area.

I really thought Legion was perfect. I never felt like it was too linear and the breadcrumb quests always seemed to be about right.
I think the issue I'm having right now is due to having fewer zones and more ways to attack those zones. I would have preferred a much more linear progression through the zones. As it is, I'm having a hard time finding cohesion with all the random quests.
I compare that to Legion, where every zone had a very strong central story arc and I honestly cannot tell you what happened during my leveling in BFA.
I wish more questing were like the Goblin starting zones. Those are still great.

You. I like you.
People: THIS is what constructive feedback looks like. Note specifics, say what you'd like to see done differently. THIS gives the developers something concrete they can grasp and consider if it's something on which they want to act.
I really hope this is a troll.

Good luck with that my friend, if you find an add on for it let me know :)
more quests!! MORE MMOOOARR!!!!!!!
more quests please. :D

I actually think it's pretty cool to have stuff to do post-game. I didn't get the Jaina stuff done because I was trying to push through to 120 and gear up.
I really like them not being linear. It makes it easier to group up with friends also. In Legion if you got a few quests behind you were SOL and wouldn't be questing until the other caught up. Now you can just move to a different hub and not be behind as much

These type of responses are what make up the majority of the cancer on these forums.
Better than to few quests.
This can be a pet peeve of mine also because I don't like quest clutter, but I personally felt that BFA quest lines were very easy to follow. In Zuldazar particularly it actually took me some time to scour the zone to be sure I HAD actually completed all available questlines.
I would never want to see quests removed from the game (its an rpg after all) but a more organized quest log might alleviate some of your frustration. I use Wholly Grail and it has definitely improved my quality of life in Legion and BFA.

Vol'dun is 90% side quests and 10% main story.... Which is why I *only* do the main story and then gtfo of there.
Just got back after like a year long break. I have yet to touch any BFA content. But I do have a legitimate question that pertains to the OP's concern >> why the 25 quest cap? Why can't we hold as many quests as we want? This also goes for the 50 person cap on the ignore list, it should also be unlimited.
