Too late to start?

Seems like everyone is already 40+ and most guilds have already established their core rosters. Also remember reading that on PvP servers its imperative you get a jump on leveling so you out level the masses. Im just starting due to moving and new job. Is it gonna be an uphill battle getting ganked left and right by lvl 50s or are there still plenty of people leveling? Are there still groups running lower level dungeons? Also do non meta classes get groups cause I dont really have any interest in playing Warrior, Priest, or Mage.

Not sure what you’re talking about … too late!? I just started a new hunter yesterday in Dun Morogh and … well, it’s still thriving!

Get on and join one of newer realm not the meme streamer or meta servers. I would avoid Herod , Fearlina, all the big ones that came out at name events.

It’s not too late to start, and you can mitigate ganking a fair amount by playing a rogue or a druid. Non meta classes get dungeons, just not as fast. I recommend a rp-pvp server even if you don’t rp as you’ll run into less elitist players, and are more likely to be accepted as whatever you are so long as your name is semi rp.

Probably better than when we all started anyway. You actually have available quest mobs!

It’s not too late. All my alts and mains are level 12-16. And I am about to reroll on a new server today. All 8 of my alts and do it all over again.

My friend keeps rerolling and so far I’ve rerolled on 5 or 6 different servers with my friend (max level 5’s). And every time there were a lot of people in the starter areas.

Where did you get this idea that its too late?

Classic Wow only started a few weeks ago.
We are still in phase one with a long way to go.
Don’t play by other people’s standards.
Just get in the game and have a good time.

Start in the newer servers, you should be fine. I’m in Netherwind and most of the LFGs are still in the early 20s.

There’s only like 7 level 60s.

Definitely not too late. The majority of the player base is still in the 1-40 range.

Its never to late. Go for it

You still have time, there are alot of people rerolling right now because the class they originally choose doesn’t work for them and if your in a guild maybe someone can carry you. There is also less players competing for early quest objectives. Getting ganked will only be a problem when you reach Scarlet Monastery levels.

No… most people are not level 40…

Most the population is in the 20s

Most of the people that have no-lifed the game since launch, yeah they are lvl 40+…
But that isn’t close to “most people”

There are all ranges of players on Thunderfury. I see new players all the time. There is always a bunch of people starting every day, so it is never too late to jump in.

Most people definitely aren’t 40. The peak of the bell curve according to census is level 20 +(-) 5.

Its not too late now,
It wont be too late in 2 weeks,
It wont be too late in 2 months,
It wont be late in 2 years.

I dont know where people get this stupid idea from. There will always be lowbies, there will always other people to play with, there will always be classic. Retail has been out for 15 years and its still not too late for that either.
